About EasyKicks with Nike April 2018 Review

After a month with the Nike Star Runner Shoes in Red, as you can see in my last review (Retail Value $48.00), I decided to ordered my son his next pair of shoes.  The shoe choices had changed, which was fun. Here is a sampling of their current offerings.

Converse Chuck Taylor All Star Low Top - Retail Value $30

My son’s new Converse arrived quickly. When I picked them, I was worried about my son being able to walk well in them and also about dealing with laces.  I am so glad I got them despite these worries! That is something I love about this service, I will try shoes I otherwise might not because I can return them whenever I want. I am so happy with these shoes. My son can run, jump, and play with ease in these and boy, are they cute.

I would never think to try a tie shoe on my toddler, but since I can easily swap out if I don’t like them, there is no risk. Once the Converse arrived, I put his old shoes in the prepaid envelope and sent them on their way. See more about what the WONDERFUL things EasyKicks by Nike’s does with returned shoes.

I also received three stickers in the box. I estimate the stickers worth at about $2 – they are high quality and could be used on a skateboard or scooter and hold up to wear.

The Verdict: I LOVE the EasyKicks With Nike service. I was happy with the selection of shoes and chose these navy blue Converse for my son. He absolutely loves them. Retail on these shoes is $30 and I can swap them at any point with free shipping making this a great value. If I want to keep them, then they end up costing $60 (three months of service) which is double the cost of the shoes. So if you intend on keeping every pair and not swapping out, this may not be the service for you. If however, like me, your child’s feet are growing rapidly, you know your child likes new shoes more often, or perhaps your child is hard on their shoes, then I recommend this service. Additionally, if you ever buy shoes to have your child hate them a week later, this would be a good choice as you can return them at any point.

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? Yes! It is a new company that is subscription based, however, not a traditional subscription service, meaning you can join at any time and pick your shoes.

I signed up today, I hope that I got the sizing right because my kid wears a 4Y in Toms and should only need a 5Y in Nike’s. I did the printout and used a card and quarter to check the scale and it seemed right but the side suggestion was way bigger than his normal shoe size.

I’ve found my son’s shoe size to be bigger in Nike’s than Toms. So, it sounds like you are correct. If the size is wrong, you can order your new pair before you ship those back and the new pair will ship quickly and be there in only a couple days. I’ve been impressed with shipping so far!

Elizabeth,
I read their faq and per it they’ve sent two pairs today, it advises you to return the incorrect sized pair and keep the other. I’m hoping this works great for me because my youngest son has autism and hates going to shop.

Anna

Elizabeth,
I read their FAQ and know now that if you choose the incorrect size after your order is placed you just order again right size asap and they’ve already printed label for shipping both pairs. It says just return the wrong size like you would normal returns.

I think it’s nice since sometimes you may not know if you need a half size etc to be able to have your child try them on at home.
