I got a tracking number and the box has shipped! ETA May 5th. Even with the prolonged delay I’m going to stay subscribed. I missed out on the amazing summer box last year and it took me months to swap for all the items I wanted from it. I think I’ll do quarterly payments instead of a year pre-pay though.

I emailed them on Monday about an update and I got this response end of the day Wednesday from them:
The current “Naturally Cute” Sanrio crate was originally set to arrive early April. However, there was a slight delay. We are actively getting those crates ready to go for all payments made by March 15th. Please be on the lookout for any email updates from our Sanrio crate team. Tracking will be emailed when we begin shipping, we are aiming to have all crates in transit within these next few days. We sincerely apologize for the delay. Please let me know if any further assistance is needed.

This is so crazy. They’re planning on shipping 1.5 months after the last day to pay? That basically means they waited to order the products until after they collected the funds, which is not how it’s typically done, right?

I’ve done more searching and discovered comments on Reddit about LC. It is not just the Sanrio Lootcrate, lots of LC’s are or have been delayed. I am concerned you are correct and they are, in fact waiting until all crates are paid for before LC orders from suppliers.

This should have been emailed to subscribers. It is very frustrating to have to find this by searching online. Unfortunately, this happens a couple times a year (extra bummer because you only get this a few times a year)

I’m pretty annoyed by this and I should’ve known better when I paid for the box. I figured since there was a cut off that meant they had all the goods and would be shipping on time, but NOPE. Not Loot Crate.

I am annoyed, too, because yesterday I emailed to ask when the box would be shipped and they just replied back with a computer generated response that they would send an email in the near future with a ship date. I never received this email that the box is delayed. Very upset seeing that this is my first box I finally decided to order. 🙁

I did not receive an email about the delay either. :-O I am unable to find any information about it on the LootCrate website when I log into my account. I’ve had the Sanrio subscription since the beginning. True Sanrio fans understand when I say I NEED my Hello Kitty/Sanrio fix ASAP! 🙂 🙁
