A. V. I. Gemma Mini Duffel in Navy - Retail Value $68.00

Last month, I felt like the bag options were a little similar to what I'd had to pick from before. This month, though, there were some fresh picks, including this cute, boxy bag. The navy color really caught my eye, as did the unique shape. It's about 9.5" x 7" x 5", so it's on the smaller side, but there's plenty of space for my (giant) phone, a small bundle of makeup, sunglasses, and any other smallish odds and ends that I care to toss in my purse. I like that it's a little roomier than the other "small" crossbody bags I own (which only really fit my wallet and keys), but not as spacious as the big totes I tend to carry (which ultimately just fill up with junk).

The gold details are awesome, and the faux leather is sturdy, yet not stiff. I like that the bag comes with an adjustable, detachable strap, so I can use it while I'm on the go or carry it by the handles for a more professional, polished look.

The Verdict: This is one of my favorite bags that I've gotten from Ivory Clasp. They generally have a more modern aesthetic to them, which I like. But I think the color and shape of this bag to the casual/quirky line in a way that's fun (but doesn't sacrifice polish). This bag retails for about $20.00 more than the cost of the subscription, so it seems like a decent deal.

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? You can definitely still sign up, but what bag you get depends on what you enter into your style profile and what's available. There's no guarantee that you'll get to pick this same look, but you might get something else that's just your style!

Value Breakdown: Ivory Clasp costs $49.00 per month, but I received a bag that retails for $68.00!

i switched from a bi-monthly sub to a quarterly sub, based on the fact that they have been showing me the same bags for a while now. i just keep emailing them to skip until they have new stock for me to choose from. when they started out they had maybe a dozen or so brands, not now it looks mostly like With212 and a few A.V.I. bags. i’m not terribly attached to brands, but i do prefer a certain kind of style. i really miss the maison du sac bags they had.

I like that we’ve had the option to choose a bag the last few quarters, but I cancelled last time after they had the same options as the previous cycle. I do think I have a purse for everything now, too. I’ve been happy enough with their quality, but I wouldn’t pay full price for this sub either (I had an ongoing promo). I was happy with the pink backpack, green satchel, and a few Solve Vita bags – I get compliments on nearly all of them fairly frequently.

I ended up with 2 ivory clasp bags last year before I got ahold of myself with my 50 subs lol, it was before they allowed you to choose. I actually like the bags in general, but it was a little disappointing that they were the exact same bag different color.

I get compliments on my purse all the time from strangers though, and have had it for 8 months now, so I’m not sure I agree that they’re low quality. Perhaps I got lucky!

100% correct!
I love handbags. All colors and sizes. But I also demand quality. This sub is very POOR quality, IMO. Certainly not worth the price of the sub. It should be a 20.00/mo subscription. No more.
I have found that the cost of the bags I buy, is justified by the length of time they last me. I have several 300-400 dollar bags that I have owned for 15+ years.
In any case, the bags are attractive enough, they are just poor quality. Disappointing.

I agree. I signed up for the $29.00 for life and just canceled. They don’t offer the brands they once did. I can get much better bags at the Coach outlet near me. TJ Maxx has better brands than this. So glad I am done with them. They are just selling their own in house brands which are junk.

If anyone is interested in swapping for some new ivory clasp bags, I have some listed! RV NEGOTIABLE. They are nice, they just don’t fit my style or size requirements.

I also have this bag, but in the color blush. I got it a few months ago when I had a subscription. I love it.

I need to sub to this one of these days. I love purses.

Your hair is cute. It’s really grown out a lot.

Some of the reviewers on here won’t be honest so I’m just going to go ahead and tell you don’t subscribe to Ivory Clasp they will send you the same two brand of purses every month and you will be disappointed just go out and buy your own.

This bag is super cute, I love the shape, but I don’t think I would ever get another Ivory Clasp bag again. I got the pink backpack (I think it may have been reviewed?), and while I do love it, the straps are cracking and it feels like there is a layer of cardboard in there that has broken so it’s really bendy. The quality is just not there for the price. You’d be better off buying Target purses, or hitting up TJMaxx or Marshalls

Stef

Agreed. You can goto TJ Maxx/Marshalls and get a real brand name purse for the price of this monthly sub. And it will be exactly what you want as well. I had this quarterly sub with last year’s galentines and I only ended up paying like 15$ a bag, but that’s exactly what they were worth…$15. No name brands and bad quality.
