Peachy Box April 2018 Review
This month, everything is about nature. Let’s see what there is!
Peachy Box includes an info card with descriptions and values of the contents and the theme for the month. This month’s theme is “Get Lost in Nature”. A wide variety of products is included to bring nature to you.
Parabo Press 25 Square Prints - Retail Value $10
I am so happy to see this coupon for 25 free 4” square prints from Parabo Press (check out our Parabo Box reviews too!). I have a set of wedding countdown Instagram photos that I’m going to use for this. The final prints will look like the front of this card - thick, matte paper with white borders. I also have a set of floral images from Costa Rica that I may end up wanting to be printed too. The prices for Parabo Press are pretty fair so I wouldn’t hesitate to get another set.
Motiva Organics Daily Multivitamin, 30-day supply - Retail Value $29.95
I don’t think I ever get the full amount of vitamins and minerals I need every day, especially when I’m busy and don’t eat much, so I’m glad to see this multi-vitamin pack included. It’s great that this is a full 30-days worth so I can really tell if it’s making a difference. They smell very vitaminy and are fairly large to swallow, but you only need one a day. The included literature says this supplement supports immunity, digestion, stress, and several other factors present in women’s lives. Ok, I need help with all of that.
Delia Organics Restore Treatment Oil, 30ml - Retail Value $39.99
I love this oil. It glides on my skin so smoothly and sinks in quickly. It is lightweight and makes my skin supple and smooth all day long. I do notice that if I wear mascara after applying this in the morning, I get a bit of panda eye (info card says it can be used as eye makeup remover). But, I started using it at night and am getting great benefits that way too. $40 seems steep for a little bottle of oil but I’m glad to use it while I have it.
Delia Organics Body Tonic Oil in Skin Remedy, 50ml - Retail Value $17.99
This body oil is a great partner to the facial oil above. It has a much more obvious scent and smells of lavender, tea tree, and geranium. The pump feature is nice for when hands are wet after a shower. I like to mix this into my body lotion when I need a little extra moisture. This oil is priced at a much lower price point than the facial oil.
June + December Pencil Terrarium in Greenhouse Mix - Retail Value $14
This set of 5 floral motif pencils comes in a glass terrarium that can be repurposed after you remove the contents. I think this is super clever! I don’t yet know how I’ll use it but it will most likely be strung up and used for tiny plants. The company also sells a reclaimed wood base so it can sit up like a vase. The pencils are cute and of nice quality. Who doesn’t love writing with stylish utensils?
Seedlings Notepad in Morris Floral - Retail Value $9.95
Here is a cute little 50-page notepad to pair with my new pencils! The belly band (the packaging wrap piece) is made from plantable seed paper with non-invasive wildflower seeds embedded. What a cute way to minimize packaging waste.
Pine District Air Plant + Cement Planter Mini - Retail Value $8
The last item is one that will require some care, but not too much since it is an air plant. The little airplant comes with a tiny cement planter with mod gold accents. No soil or watering is required. Just mist with a spray bottle every couple of days. The planters are handmade in Portland by a small business.
Verdict: Peachy Box’s “Get Lost In Nature” is such a well-curated box. I love that there are items from different categories like home decor, skincare, and office. I’ve noticed a concentration on quality, natural products from US-based small businesses for several months and I love it. This is such a great gift subscription because it is beautifully packaged and thoughtfully curated with full-size products. I calculated a retail value of $129.88 which is impressive for a cost of $34.99 with free shipping. This box has really come a long way since it started last year.
To Wrap Up:
