I love that the stickers sealing the tissue paper are the same hearts decorating the box!

PinkSeoul Box March/April 2018 Review

Prior to purchasing a subscription, PinkSeoul will ask you several customization questions. Some products are more appropriate/recommended for a particular skin type so be sure to figure out your skin type.

This box also includes an info sheet that details how to start a Korean Skincare routine, as well as a sheet detailing the products.

Tony Moly Panda’s Dream Hand Cream, 30 grams

Tony Moly Panda’s Dream Hand Cream, 30 grams - Retail Value $12

I squealed when I opened the box and saw this hand cream at the very top. I have been eyeing it at Ulta but hadn’t committed to purchasing it. Luckily PinkSeoul read my mind! This was hydrating and nongreasy, and the adorable packaging is really great.

Heimish All Clean White Clay Foam Cleanser, 150 grams

Heimish All Clean White Clay Foam Cleanser, 150 grams - Retail Value $12

This generously sized clay cleanser is perfect for my oily, acne-prone skin. It doesn’t leave my skin feeling tight after using and hasn’t caused any breakouts. Time will tell if this really helps me control my oily T-zone, but I have high hopes.

Tony Moly Painting Therapy Pack in Blue, 30 grams

Tony Moly Painting Therapy Pack in Blue, 30 grams - Retail Value $6.50

I love a good face mask, especially when that face mask is blue. This is designed to be used with other packs from Tony Moly, with the different colors addressing different skincare concerns. I am battling some stubborn hormonal acne, and I used this to soothe the acne on my chin after exfoliating and toning. It soothed, hydrated, and now I want to buy a brush specifically for painting face masks onto my skin.

W.Dressroom Dress & Living Clear Perfume, 2.34 oz

W.Dressroom Dress & Living Clear Perfume, 2.34 oz - Retail Value $13

I thought at first this was a perfume, but it’s actually a room and fabric spray! This is a really light and delicate pomegranate scent that I would totally be okay spraying all over my apartment. This was the “accessory” item of the month, and I think it was a unique choice.

COSRX AHA/BHA Clarifying Treatment Toner, 5.29 oz

COSRX AHA/BHA Clarifying Treatment Toner, 5.29 oz - Retail Value $17

After reviewing the Birchbox Acids and Vitamins Kit, I am happy to see this big ol’ bottle of toner. The glycolic acid in this toner is supposed to brighten my skin and make it healthier over time, which is something I can definitely get behind. This isn’t a miracle worker, though, so I have yet to see any noticeable results. It doesn’t irritate my skin, however, so that’s nice.

Peripera Juice Time Apple Mask Sheet

Peripera Juice Time Apple Mask Sheet, Retail Value $3

Mmm, this smelled like apple juice and I liked it. This was definitely soothing and hydrating— a good, solid sheet mask.

Leaders Daily Wonder Mask

Leaders Daily Wonder Mask, Retail Value $5

I’ve tried this mask before, and I was happy to see it again. It wasn’t too drippy coming out of the packaging, and my pores looked the tiniest bit smaller after I was done wearing it. More importantly, it didn’t break me out and was hydrating.

The Verdict: This is my first month experiencing PinkSeoul Box, and it was a lot of fun! I always appreciate when there is information on the products I am about to use in English, so I love that is available for all of the products PinkSeoul includes. All of the included products seem like a good fit for my oily, acne-prone skin, and I am impressed with the amount full-sized products that include a mix of familiar and new-to-me brands. I calculated a value of $68.50, which is above the promised value of $60.

The Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? The March/April box is currently sold out, but you can sign up for the May/June box here.

  • Cleanser: $7
  • Painting therapy pack: $3.79

I am a staunch believer that pineapple doesn’t belong on pizza and when I’m not working as a family law attorney I enjoy hiking the Louisiana trails (alligator sightings are a favorite!) or relaxing with Duchess, my cat. I’m a sucker for anything labeled a mystery box and I’ve never met a bath bomb I didn’t like.

Does anyone know what the spoilers are for May / June’s box?

Definitely get a brush to apply masks, it makes it a whole different experience.

Adele

What kind of brush do you like to use for masks? Thanks!

I agree, a mask brush really adds to the experience! I use a Glamglow brush from a set I bought last year. It’s my favorite! I would advise against the ELF masking tool as it’s not really a brush but rather a flexible stiff paddle.
