Now, on to the items!
Method Body Simply Nourish Body Wash – 3.4 oz Value $1.32
I didn't know Method made bath and body products (besides hand soap) - this is a great discovery! The coconut and rice milk formula has a sweet but subtle coconut scent, and it creates a rich, creamy lather.
Love Beauty & Planet Volume Coconut Water & Mimosa Flower Shampoo – 3 oz Retail Value $3.99
This is a new haircare brand I've been seeing in almost every magazine over the past few months, and I was happy to try another scent from their line. (I've already sampled the Lavender version - it's great.)
And, we get a matching conditioner:
Love Beauty & Planet Volume Coconut Water & Mimosa Flower Conditioner – 3 oz Value $3.99
First, excellent sized samples! These are perfect for travel and this set lasted me for an entire week!
I love the formulas. They are ingredient-conscious, the scent is fab, and they didn't weigh down my hair at all.
Shea Moisture African Black Soap Facial Mud Mask Packette (1ct or .5oz) Value $2.49
This mask is designed to "draw out dirt and congestion while helping absorb excess oil and improve the appearance of troubled skin." You apply a thin layer, let it set for up to 10 minutes, then remove. I found it to be very gentle on my skin, and while I've found similar masks to be somewhat drying, this left my skin looking dewy.
One minor complaint, though. There are atleast 2-3 uses in this packet, so I really wish they would have packaged it in a tube or some other resealable option.
Schmidt's Rose + Vanilla Natural Deodorant - .7 oz Value $1.32
I love the idea of natural/ingredient-conscious deodorants, but I usually end up going back to my tried-and-true Secret or Dove because they work better/are easier to use.
First, I love that this comes in stick form. (The natural deodorants that are in a jar and you have to apply with your fingertips, just aren't for me. I need the ease of a stick!)
Second, I was surprised by how much I liked the scent. Normally, I shy away from anything rose-scented, but this rose + vanilla combination is lovely.
And third, this worked well for me! I wore it on an hour walk, and still smelled like roses after! (Just an FYI - the scent sticks around, so be prepared to smell like this deodorant for the whole day.)
Nourish Organic Face Lotion - .5 oz Value $5.29
(Good to know for swaps - this item has an inner foil seal.)
This is a very lightweight lotion that absorbs almost instantly. I love that it's organic, and the sweet orange scent was a welcome surprise!
Weleda Skin Food – 0.34 oz Value $1.13
(Good to know for swaps - this item has an inner foil seal that you puncture with the cap.)
Unlike the lotion, this is an intense (almost balm) that provides tons of moisture. You can use it both on face and body, and a little goes a long way. (Just a heads up - it takes a bit of time to fully absorb.)
And again, I love the natural scent!
Verdict: This box has a value of about $19.53. That's great for a $7 Target beauty box, plus the $3 beauty coupon always adds value to me. I love when Target does a natural beauty box, too! All the items are great, and I found some new favorites. (In fact, I think I'm going to buy a spare box since they are still available!)
To Wrap Up:
Can you still get this box if you sign up today? Yes! As of 4/27, this box is still available! Make sure to sign up for the My Subscription Addiction daily newsletter so you don't miss the next one!
