Yogi Surprise April 2018 Review
This month centers around spring cleaning... for your spirit!
Mazi Trading Co. Mini Turkish Towel - Retail Value $24.00
This 100% cotton towel has the prettiest aqua color. I like the playful white fringe and lightweight feel of this 24" x 43" towel. I could see using it as a decorative accent to a table as well as a handy kitchen towel.
Good Earth Tea Co. Organic Emerald Green Loose Leaf Tea, 2 oz. - Retail Value $12.99 (found here for $9.09)
Mmm, green tea is one of my faves. This blend has a nice bright, rich flavor. I like that the tea comes in a little tin, rather than a bag. The wide opening makes it easy to scoop the tea out, and once I'm done with it, I can reuse it for storing things around the house!
Olio Wellness Mist, 4 fl. oz. - Retail Value $12.00
This cleansing mist can be used to refresh the air in a room or even to freshen up my yoga mat. I can even use it on my body if I want! The blend of lemon, geranium, rosewood, cedarwood, ylang ylang, and grapefruit essential oils is pretty, uplifting, and grounding at the same time. It's perfect for waking up my brain from a mid-afternoon slump.
Chocolatey Coconut Rise Bar - Buy 12 for $27.99 here
I really enjoyed this chewy bar. Would you believe it only has 5 ingredients in it? Just cashews, pea protein, coconut nectar, carob powder, and shredded coconut. Awesome, right? I like when snacks like this are as natural as possible. I also love how filling this bar is! It's chewy and chocolatey with a pop of toasty coconut flavor. The thickness of the bar and the amount of protein inside made a great on-the-go breakfast for me.
Gogh Jewelry Design Tree of Life Keychain - Retail Value $29.00
The lava rock and turquoise on this keychain is meant to provide grounding energy. Lava stone can also hold essential oils, so this keychain can double as an aromatherapy product!
Elyptol Hand Sanitizer Wipes, 10 count - Buy a box of 6 packets for $23.94 here
These wipes are nice to have on hand in my tote bag or in the car. The eucalyptus scent on these is pretty strong, but for the natural cleansing power, I'll take it!
BONUS: Exclusive Gypsy Soul Organic Aromatherapy Candle
This candle appeared in a previous Yogi Surprise box back in September. It's about 3 inches wide and has an understated, refreshing scent. It's the kind of aroma that'd be great in a bathroom to make my morning shower all the more uplifting.
BONUS: Pacifica Breathtaking Aroma Power Perfume Oil, 10 ml - Retail Value $14.00
The subtle scent of this quartz-infused oil is nothing like what I expected, but I really love it! After reading the ingredients list, I think the aroma that I noticed first (but couldn't quite place) is cardamom. The scent is smooth and warm and comforting—it's my kind of "romantic" scent. (I'm not super into strong flowery fragrances.)
BONUS: Mindful Anti-Aging Eye Serum, 0.5 fl. oz. - Retail Value $35.00
This last bonus item feels light and fresh on my skin. It's vegan, gluten-free, and paraben-free, and contains primrose and lavender to help nourish the delicate skin around your eyes. The consistency is creamy rather than oily like some serums can be. I lvoe how soothing it feels once it's on!
The Verdict: This month's box was practical and fun. I think my favorite item was the balancing spray—it's just such a great multipurpose product (plus I love the scent). I'm excited to have healthier, more natural ways to refresh my home for the spring! The box is on the pricier side at $44.95, but I thought it was great value in terms of brand discovery (if that's something you're interested in). Based on the price of the box, the average price for the 6 main items is $7.49 each. I like that they included several higher-value items in the box, along with small things like the protein bar—it's not like if you don't like the one big ticket item in the box, you're out of luck.
To Wrap Up:
Can you still get this box if you sign up today? No, you will receive the May box. Sign up on or by the 13th to get the next month’s box! All orders processed after the 13th will ship the following month.

Value Breakdown: There were 6 featured items in this $44.95 box. While I could only find bulk prices for the protein bar and the eucalyptus wipes, the other main items in the box had a total value of $77.99. Add in the value of the one bonus item I could find a price for, and that brings the value up to $91.99. Going by the price of the box, each item has an average value of $7.49 (or $4.99 when I include the bonus items).
