April 2018 Brick Loot Review

The April Brick Loot box was themed "Food Fight" and features a brand new building for your ever-growing Mini City!

Each delivery arrives with a card that details each item in your box.

Frank's Hot Dog Cart - Value $15?

This is a 100% LEGO brick exclusive build for Brick Loot subscribers!

It's a 67-piece build designed by Kevin Szeto - they noted on the card that his Beatles Yellow Submarine model was recently turned into an official LEGO product - I just thought that was a great sidenote!

Follow his quick build instructions to make you're Hot Dog Cart.

Mini City Fry Stand - Value $20+?

Over the past few months, Brick Loot has sent a number of different build kits to add to your Mini City - and this month brings that back with a french fry stand.

These are typically the biggest builds of the box - and this one comes in at 143 pieces.

Their directions are always simple to follow. 20 steps later, you'll have a new building.

The Fry Guy Mini Figure - Value $5-10?

You have the fry stand - so now you need "The Fry Guy"!

Pop him in your Mini City!

Ultimate Food Pack - Value $10-15?

You'll get 65 pieces of food items for your mini figures.

It even comes with plates - perfect to set up your hot dog cart.

No Kragle Iron On Patch - Value $5?

The last item in the box isn't a print this month, instead, everyone gets this 'No Kragle' iron-on patch! Leave that krazy glue at home!

Verdict: This was a really cohesive theme - it felt like all of the lego build kits, items, and the Minifigure went together perfectly!

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? No. You’ll find the current available theme in their top banner of the website.

Jake

I was curious, is the “mini” city built using miniature pieces that won’t fit into regular Lego or are these pieces also Lego compatible and can be used with other sets?

The “mini city” is more of their name for the set they’ve been sending out. These are regular sized bricks – and they should be LEGO compatible.

That food pack is awesome! Food accessories can be hard to come by, so getting that many is great!

I want to play with this!!! I wish you would show it finished though.

Lame review. If you’re not going to assemble the kits, have someone else do the review.
