Cloth & Paper is a monthly stationery subscription box from lifestyle and stationery shop, Cloth & Paper.
In addition to the Stationery Subscription Box, Cloth & Paper offers a pens-and-pencils-focused subscription called "Penspiration," as well as a subscription that's the two boxes combined into one. With the Stationery subscription (what I'm reviewing today), you can expect 5-8 items, including desk items like paper pads, pens, note cards, and journals, as well as some occasional lifestyle goodies.
My Subscription Addiction paid for this box. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).
This review is of the Cloth & Paper Stationery, $38 a month, box.

Cloth & Paper April 2018 Review
Everything comes neatly packed in tissue paper.
Instead of a list of items, Cloth & Paper has a card that directs you to their blog for an unboxing video.
Pen & Holder
The first item is a simple white pen with a 0.5mm point that comes with its own black faux leather holder. I really like how plain this pen is and it writes quite smoothly as well!
Pen Loop
If you aren't feeling the first pen holder, they've included a different way to keep your pen near and attach it to your favorite notebook. The faux leather loop is connected to a metal clip you can easily slide on to a cover so you never lose your pen.
Rose Gold Ruler
I love when they send fancy desk accessories and this month comes with a rose gold ruler. Its shorter and wider than the gold one I've received in the past, but I like them both a lot so each will have a spot with my other accessories.
Almost everything else comes contained in a clear plastic box.
Here are the contents I'll breaking down as I assemble this month's clear planner with travelers notebook inserts.
The clear plastic binder comes with two colors of an elastic band to choose from which will hold your planner shut. I chose the darker one which looks to be a rich brown.
Next, you'll remove the rods that will hold your inserts in place.
They've sent three travelers notebooks (two white and one black) which are popular right now since they are so customizable. They are all blank on the inside and out so you can draw, write, practice lettering, add stickers... whatever!
Here, I've put the rod in the center of the notebook and clicked it back into the binder. I decided to add all three at once but you can do whatever you like.
Next, there is a pack of three clear frosted inserts that have space for business cards on one side, and a pocket on the other.
Each pocket has a "zipper" that allows you to reseal.
These open pockets can store business cards or any other flat item you need to keep with you. Each side has two compartments.
I suppose I could have put all three in the binder as one bundle, but I chose to add them all separately, the same way I did the travelers notebooks. There were enough fastening rods for all!
Next, it's time to decide on one of the three "title cards" that they've included. Or you can certainly make your own.
They suggested using the tear drop paper clips from the last box to fasten it to the front of a travelers notebook but I had some cool metal fasteners on hand that I decided to use.
And voila! You have your completed customized planner!
The last thing you need to do is choose to attach the pen loop...
...or simply tuck the pen holder under the elastic band.
Verdict: I especially like when Cloth & Paper Stationery Box sends a box like this that has a theme or project involved with it. It was actually really fun to build my own planner and since all of the items here are basic or refillable, I can add more flair to it and of course buy more inserts when I use all of the current ones up. I also appreciated the pen and having a choice of ways to keep it in place.
To Wrap Up:
Can you still get this box if you sign up today? No, but it looks like you have until the 16th to subscribe and get the May box.

Value Breakdown: This one is hard to break down for value, but for $38.00 I received a pen with holder, a pen clip, a metal ruler, and a refillable planner, complete with 3 blank travelers notebooks, and three pocket inserts. If you say there are six items, you're paying about $6.33 each.
