Cohorted Beauty Box is a luxe beauty subscription box from the UK - and they are now shipping worldwide!

This subscription comes in a box within a box, so the inner box is pristine and would be great to keep for storage:

Complete with ribbon!

My Subscription Addiction paid for this box. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes.)

The Subscription Box: Cohorted Beauty Box

The Cost: £35.00 + shipping for international customers (My total cost was £47.49 = $62.92 USD)

The Products: A mix of beauty + makeup items. (Cohorted hasn't made any full-size guarantees, but from what I can tell you'll receive at least a few full-size items each month.)

This box comes with a booklet detailing the items included:

Now, on to the items!

JorgObe White Tea Balancing Cream - FULL SIZE! Retail Value $28

This is a lightweight lotion with a subtle white tea scent. It absorbs quickly, was gentle on my skin, and it works as both a day and night cream. The formula is ingredient-conscious, too. It's vegan and free of parabens, mineral oils, silicone, artificial colors, and paraffin.

Sachajuan Ocean Mist Volume Conditioner - 100 ml Value $12.80

Sachajuan is a pricey, luxe haircare line, and I'm always happy to see it in a subscription box! And I appreciate that Cohorted sent a coordinated set of products:

Sachajuan Ocean Mist Volume Shampoo - 100 ml Value $12.80

The formulas are designed to help with volume, but to be honest I didn't notice any difference in the volume of my hair after using them. I really liked the formulas though, so they are a nice treat, but not something I would splurge on and pay full price for. The ocean mist scent is fresh and clean, too.

Sachajuan Ocean Mist Texturizing Spray - 50 ml Value $10.33

I've sampled a lot of texturizing/sea salt sprays thanks to subscription boxes, and I like how subtle this one is. No need to worry about crunchy hair, or overdoing it. A fine mist just gave my hair a little extra texture.

Huda Beauty Lip Strobe in Angelic - FULL SIZE! Retail Value $18

SO excited to see Huda Beauty in this box! (This is a very rare brand in the subscription box world!)

And this lipgloss is gorgeous. It's a light peachy pink with gold reflections. It wears down nicely, and has a fab cupcake flavor, too.

Here it is swatched:

It's also pigmented enough that you could wear this alone or as a lip topper. Stunning!

Too Faced Mascara Melt Off Cleansing Oil -.04 oz Value $3

This Melt Off Cleansing Oil is basically the first step in removing mascara. First, you apply it to your mascaraed lashes, wait 60 seconds, then remove with a makeup remover wipe.

It seemed to me like this was adding an additional step to my makeup removing process, not removing or replacing one, so I was already a little skeptical when I tried it.

The good news is that it did make my mascara easier to remove. (I even tried it with Too Faced’s Waterproof Mascara and had decent results.) This wasn’t enough of a groundbreaking product to make me buy it in the future. I’ll use my sample up, then go back to taking a few extra swipes with the makeup remover wipes to remove all my mascara.

Verdict: This box has a retail value of about $84.93. I paid about $63 (including shipping to the US). I think this box is a great deal if you live in the UK and get free shipping. This month, the value wasn't that great compared to the cost, but I'm happy with all the items included, so that's OK. Plus, I'm really enjoying the quality of the brands they send.

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? No. Currently, it looks like your first box would be the May box.

Ragan

Sometimes I look at reviews of beauty boxes and I think “that looks nice” (this one does). And then I remember that even though I quit most of them several years ago, I can do things like go into my closet, rummage around for a bit, and pull out an extra large Tarte palette (with more than 30 eyeshadows, plus a little pull-out drawer containing mascara, blush, highlighter, and lip gloss) that *I don’t even remember buying.* And this probably cost me at least $50 (or more).

So, no new beauty boxes (or Ulta/Sephora purchases) for me.

LOL, Ragan, you are so funny. I have opposite problem. I usually see the box review and I know for sure I received this box, but don’t even know where I put it. That’s why I am actively canceling my boxes.

Ragan, you are my hero. I love hearing about someone who has been able to break the subscription FOMO circle (I haven’t been able to do that yet). Thankfully, I have discovered that I only like three very specific lip colors, so I am not tempted by colors anymore.

I really hope I can reach this point!! I am grappling with canceling birchbox. I had it since 2012 and at this point I am just donating 10 bucks a month. The boxes are so bad now plus I don’t even need anything if they were good
