This arrived late! Loot crate has had shipping issues across crates recently – please check out the post about this specific box delay.

My Subscription Addiction pays for this subscription. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).

April 2018 Nuka Cola Fallout Crate Review

The third Fallout crate was themed around Nuka Cola.

The front of the card is made to be a frameable 8x10 print, which I think is a nice touch. It's on a thick cardstock, so hopefully, it arrives to you damage-free.

The back side has all of the information about the items in the box.

Strength Perk Pin - Value $5?

The pins come in two variants - the gold common variant, and the rare black variant. This month's pin shows the Party Boy in-game perk.

Nuka-World Postcard T-shirt - Value $15?

For me, this is the best of the three shirts to-date. I like the postcard design and overall color of this shirt.

Piper Wright Figure - Value $25?

Every box includes an exclusive vinyl figure featuring a Fallout character from across the franchise. This month's character is Piper Wright.

These will arrive in a few pieces - but are a piece of cake to assemble.

I like the detail put into these figures so far. On top of that, the paint job is really well done. At first, I thought Piper's weapon might be interchangeable - but the other weapon simply snaps on her back belt.

So far, I think this line is like the Halo figure line in terms of quality - I've been pleased with it.

Power Armor Build-A-Figure Legs - Value $5?

Each month also includes one piece of the Power Armor BAF - like many toy lines these days! This month includes the Legs for the Power Armor.

Slowly but surely, we're building the armor.

Nuka-World Hat - Value $15?

This month includes a Nuka-World hat as well.

It's embroidered - the text really pops off of the black hat.

Like all subscription box hats I've received so far, it's a snapback - so one size fits most.

Muka-Cola Koozie Set - Value $10?

You'll get two can koozies featuring Nuka Cola and Nuka Cola Quantum.

They're a basic koozie.

Nuka Cola Magbet - Value $5-10?

This is a 4inch wide vinyl magnet. It's a little bit bendable and definitely pops out.

Fallout Mini Nuke USB Hub - Value $15?

My favorite item in the box wasn't listed on the card, but I'm assuming it's a "sorry for late shipping" bonus?

The hub itself lights up when it's plugged in!

The Hub stands about 5-inches tall and has 3 USB outlets - the outlets also provide charging power, not just connectivity, so this went right onto my desk.

Verdict: This was my favorite deliver for Fallout Crate so far. I liked every item, and this bonus item was just outstanding. Hopefully, they can get the quality control issues sorted out so that they don't have to delay crates in the future - that aside, I've liked the Fallout crate so far.

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? No. You'll see the currently available theme on the landing page.

This is one of my favorite subs and I love this little nuke hub! I paid the full year just to get it and I actually forgot about it! It was a real surprise to open up this white box and find this cool little nuke. I own the big nuke that came with the purchase of the previous Fallout games and I love that one too.

The bonus item was not a bonus for this box. It was the bonus item for paying for the entire year in advance. Or at least that was what is was supposed to be. I don’t know if everyone got it or not. I did, because I paid a year in advance.

I ordered three months worth of boxes starting with the Nuka World crate after I saw how cool the first two were. There was no super cool USB bomb in my box sadly. So I guess it was just for annual subscribers.
