I was really excited to try this dish, as I love curry! I was a little concerned about getting fish delivered in the mail, but everything arrived ok. The meal was really easy to prepare and you can definitely take some liberties in how you use some of the ingredients if you are confident in your cooking skills.
This dish turned out amazing and I’m definitely going to use this recipe on my own. This was a restaurant quality meal and I feel like anyone could cook this easily. Very, very good.
Pad See Ew With Chicken
Serving Size: 2
Calories per serving: 510
Prep and Cooking Time: 30 minutes
After cooking the curry I was extremely excited to start the second dish. The photos on the recipe card looked great and the quality of the first dish was beyond excellent. Well, either this dish isn’t that great or I messed up somewhere. Very lackluster flavor, the chicken seemed a little off and the noodles were a nightmare to work with. I was not impressed with the Pad See Ew.
Verdict: 50/50. The Massaman curry was out of this world! I’d love to eat this at least once a week. The Pad See Ew with chicken, well, I was really let down with that dish. I’d like to try some more of Global Belly’s offerings to see how the other dishes compare. The curry was so good that I’m sure the majority of their other products are equally as good. The products stayed perfectly fresh in the box until I was able to cook it.
