Loot Anime "Brave" March 2018 Review
Quick note—this box arrived super late. Like, May 8th late. Such a bummer! I hope Loot Crate starts getting on top of their schedule again! It stinks having to wait so long.
Loot Anime includes a poster in lieu of an info card. This month's is inspired by the Assassination Classroom! The back of the poster has the product list on it.
I also got a promo card for a new game.
Exclusive Evangelion T-Shirt
I love Neon Genesis Evangelion, so I find this comfy indigo tee to be just sooo cool! The green and purple of Unit 01 really pop against the color of the tee.
Exclusive Assassination Classroom Lanyard
This lanyard has a smooth, comfortable weave and a clear pocket at the end where you can shove your own ID badge, event tickets, convention passes, or whatever you please. It's super sturdy, plus the pattern of characters and glowing honeycomb shapes is pretty darn cool.
Exclusive Seven Deadly Sins Tote Bag
I'm a big tote bag collector, so I was excited to get one in this box. The canvas is on the thin side, but the design feels bold, crisp, and cool. Can't wait to bring this to the library or bookstore next time I go to pick up new manga.
Exclusive Overlord Pin
I wish this lapel pin had a less detailed design. As it is, it's tough to make out all of the specifics of the novel cover on a small pin! I do like that it has two posts on the back, though. It makes it more secure on whatever jacket or backpack I'd put it on.,
Fairy Tail Rhodonite Manga
I could only find this manga online as an e-book. This copy even says "not for sale" on the back cover, so it must be tougher to find. This spin-off of the Fairy Tail series made for a fun read. I like when they include manga in this box, though typically they're special editions. (I'm not sure if this one is or not.)
The Verdict: I loved the t-shirt and tote bag in this box. Both felt like items that I'll get a lot of use out of, so I was happy with them. The satisfaction you feel with this subscription really comes down to how much anime you watch and love—it helps to either be well-versed in a lot of series, because you get items from such a wide assortment of shows. The other thing this subscription unfortunately requires is patience. I sure hope the next few boxes arrive in a more timely manner!
