April 2018 'Hunt' Loot Gaming Review
The April 2018 "Hunt" theme featured Darks Souls III, Monster Hunter World, Batman Arkham City, and Farcry 5.
You'll get a large fold-out information sheet.
One side features a 28x22 poster - this month features Farcry 5.
The reverse side will walk you through the items in the crate.
Beartrap Pin - Value $5?
This month's pin highlights an early hunting tool - the beartrap. Apparently, they were typically baited with bacon!
Dark Souls III Shirt - Value $15?
This month's exclusive shirt features Dark Souls III front and center. It features a graphic that I've seen all over the place - but that's much better than a mash-up shirt in my opinion!
Monster Hunter World Jawblade Mini Replica - Value $15?
This month's vinyl figure is a replica blade from Monster Hunter - the Jawblade.
While I don't play any Monter Hunter games, I still thought this was pretty cool looking. It's a little over 6.5 inches long and sits on this little stand for presentation - it looks pretty cool next to the Lancer replica.
Farcry 5 Hope County Dopp Kit - Value $15-20?
The Farcry 5 item is a dopp kit featuring the games' logo and an image of the game's town - Hope County.
The quality feels pretty high in terms of a dopp kit, including the inner liner that is easier to clean in case of any spills. It's also the basic size of a dopp kit - good enough to pack away the essentials for a trip.
Loot Crate Edition Batman: Arkham City Comic - Value ?
The final item is a collection of the 5 chapter comic arc that leads to the 2011 Arkham City video game. What makes this a little unique outside of the variant cover, is that the 5 chapters were originally published digitally. It's a quick read and could be a fun way to get back into the Return to Arkham games.
Verdict: This was a tough month for me because, outside of Arkham City, I don't play enough of these titles to love the items. Overall, in terms of item type, nothing really blew me away either - so I'm curious what fans of the specific franchises think!
