Mighty Fix May 2018 Review

Each box includes an info card telling you about the featured item and how what they chose to send you helps your house be “greener,” and you be “healthier”! This month’s featured items are five produce bags. The back of the card always has a DIY recipe associated with the monthly product. This month’s DIY recipe is for fruit + vegetable wash.

Flip & Tumble Produce Bags-

Flip & Tumble Produce Bags, set of 5 - Retail Value $12.00

This month’s Mighty Fix is a sign for me to eat more fruits and vegetables. I received five reusable produce bags made from 100% polyester and measures at 12”x14”. The bags are from Flip & Tumble, a company based in Berkely, CA. I try to reuse the plastic produce bags provided in my grocery store, but I’m guilty of throwing them away. These bags put an end to that. The bags are roomy, and the bag has a drawstring tie that secures my produce. It’s instructed to machine wash cold and line dry; I may hand wash to ensure it lasts longer.

Here’s a close-up of the produce bag and it has a drawstring tie.

I received four cards to share with my friends for one month free of Mighty Fix, valid on new subscriptions only.

Verdict: This was a useful Mighty Fix. I’m blown away by what I receive each month and how my home is slowly becoming environmentally friendly. I still have a long way to go, but this subscription makes it easy and fun to accomplish. The value of this subscription is amazing; I’m paying $10 a month for quality products that are above the cost of the subscription. I appreciate being sent five produce bags for my upcoming trips to the grocery store or farmers market. I can’t wait to produce shop, finally a way to get me to purchase more veggies and fruit. This subscription doesn’t send the same item each month to everyone that subscribes, so keep in mind that if you choose to subscribe your item may be different from what I received. Also, readers have mentioned in previous reviews that they already received a product I was reviewing.

There is some level of irony they shipped these to you in a heavy plastic bag.
That’s the only thing putting me off Mighty Fix- it would be much more environmentally friendly to get a large package with all these things (especially if bought locally), rather than a plastic mailer of one thing once a month.

I received 3 PC wool dryer balls in March for my 1st item. They are the best quality and biggest I’ve seen.
In April I received the 2 PC lunchskins reusable sandwich and snack bags. They are quite incredible! I recommend reading about them on their site.
I will receive May items around the 25th.
I have wanted to buy many items, but being new I’m waiting to see what I am sent for 6 months or so. But I really would like to have the produce bags featured here.
Although the referral program is unique, I’m still having fun with it. You don’t receive points/credit etc. You send a recommendation for Both -to get 1st month Free, And its the item you choose for them. You can do 2 referrals per month. My loved ones are enjoying the Free item, and signing up.
Oh and they Donate 15% of your purchases to the school of your choice (you can quickly and easily sign up). I linked my Grandkids school. The School had others signed up already, so when I joined, it went to the next level of donation percentage. I don’t recall exact amount, but went up by 2%-5% per order. That’s Amazing!!

How see thru are these? Would a cashier be able to tell what is in them without having to open them? Thank you!

It’s see through and they would be able to see the items.

Great review! I agree with everything you wrote. I’m into my second year of the Mighty Fix. It’s great as ever and I’ve never received a repeat.

I also added Mighty Body this past month and loved my first selection.

Keri, that’s wonderful information to know! Thank you! 2 years subscription says alot about a Company.
I was with Squix for 2 years prior, they joined Mighty Fix several months ago. I’m glad I can still shop/receive the products I like. And I am enjoying the surprise useful item each month for a great price.
I’ve been able to share a Free Month with Loved ones, and they have joined as well.

Great Review Nich. I hope to get the produce bags, they look great. I have received the wool dryer balls and the 2pc Lunch sacks. I am loving the products! The $10 a month is well worth it! Great quality items for a reasonable price.
