Father's Day 2018 Pittsburgh Steelers Fanchest Review

The main items in this box seem to be the same across the different teams - with the tie as the big item of the box.

You'll get a few cards - including the golden ticket where you can win a number of things - I got a 10% Fanchest discount for my prize.

You'll also be greeted by a handwritten note.

Steelers Tie - Value $25 (based on the same style of Cowboys tie)

The big-ticket item of the box is this logo tie.

The tie is 100% polyester and officially licensed.

While the logo is featured, the color scheme is still pretty subtle for wearing it to work.

Steelers Double-Wall Tumbler - Value $25 based on similar products

I can't find this exact tumbler online, so I'm ballparking the value based on similar tumblers on the NFL shop site.

It's a nice, clear, double-wall design, with all of the graphics work on the inside wall.

I like the quality of the lip and the actual inside of the cup.

And it has your basic sipping options. Overall, it feels like a good quality tumbler.

Stance Logo Socks - Value $18

This item tends to differ from franchise to franchise - but, for the Steelers, you'll get a pair of logo socks.

The socks are a 58/25/10/7 Combed Cotton/Cotton/Nylon/Elastane blend.

These are very comfortable and definitely feel like an $18 pair of socks. They're on the heavier side, though, so you won't get a ton of use out of them until football season rolls around again.

Money Clip Bottle Opener - Value $10-15?

You'll get a Steelers logo money clip/bottle opener.

While I don't use a money clip - on with a bottle opener makes so much sense.

Best Dad Wooden Plaque - Value $13?

The final item is a 10x5 plaque.

It comes with a little rope to hang it proudly.

Verdict: They promise a $90 value for the $69 limited edition price tag - and my values ad up to $96, so they've hit that. While I like the socks and the tumbler, I probably won't be the best demographic for a dad box - so I'm curious to hear if dads out there would love this or not? As always with Fanchest, I do think this caters much better to the out-of-town fan without instant access to team items.

If they offered more teams, we’re Miami Dolphins fans… My hubby and dad would like this, except the ties.
