Pop In A Box is a Funko POPs subscription that helps you build out your collection every month! You can sign up to receive 1, 2, 3, 6, 8, or 12 POPs each month.

This is a review of a 6-POP delivery.

One thing to note with this subscription - sometimes, your POPs arrive in different packages - weeks apart! This shipment was the first to arrive in separate packages in a quite a while for me - about a week or so apart, too.

My Subscription Addiction paid for this box. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes.)

May 2018 POP In A Box Review

My May 2018 Pop In A Box Subscription Box featured POPs from Avengers: Infinity War, SNL, Game of Thrones, Star Wars, and Silicon Valley.

This is a no-frills subscription. You'll be getting the amount of POPs of your choice in a plain brown box. But, with any subscription, you'll have a chance to pull a 6 inch POP or POP Ride - I think I've received an oversized POP at least twice with my subscription.

Here's a quick run-down of creating your PIAB account:

The first thing you'll want to do is set up your collection. This is an important step to ensure that you don't receive a duplicate POP or a POP that you may not care about.

piab-1

You can cycle through POPs and selection options for each one. Mark 'Add to my Collection' for POPs you have and avoid duplicates. Give POPs a thumbs down to let PIAB know that you don't want it, and mark it as thumbs up to let them know that you're really interested in that specific POP.

piab-2

There are a TON of POPs to go through. I haven't even gone through all of them, but in the end, you'll have built your own collection! This will help you keep track of what you have, and it will help PIAB know what to send.

They also no offer subscription options for Marvel, DC, Disney, Dorbz, and Rock Candy - find out all the details here!

This month came with a couple coupon codes as well.

SNL D*ck In A Box

I've been hoping to score this POP in this subscription, so I put off buying it for a while - I was ecstatic when I saw it in the box!

This just cracks me up - and it's the best of the SNL line - it also makes me miss Andy Samberg on SNL!

Silicon Valley: Richard

I received two Silicon Valley POPs this month - the first is Richard.

It's a pretty basic POP sculpt - but Richard is always pretty basic - I do love the Pied Piper shirt!

Silicon Valley: Gilfoyle

The second POP from Silicon Valley is Gilfoyle!

I must say, I love POP sculpts with little glasses.

Here's the whole line of figures for Silicon Valley - I really need to get the Jared POP.

Daenerys Targaryen

There are a number of Daenerys POPs out there, including POPs with her dragons - but I believe this is one of the most recent ones.

The hair sculpt is just awesome. While it's a basic sculpt -it still looks great.

I had to go buy that Wun Wun POP, no regrets there, but you could spend a lifetime trying to get all of the Game of Thrones POPs.

Corvus Glaive

My only POP from Infinity War is part of Thanos' Black Order - it's Corvus Glaive.

Now this is just a great sculpt. The detail on the cape alone is phenomenal.

I believe there is only one wave of POPs for Infinity War so far, but you can expect it to continue for years.

Scarif Stormtrooper

The final POP in the box is from Rogue One - and it's one of the last POPs I need for this collection.

It's a basic Stormtrooper sculpt - but I'll never be sick of these.

Verdict: The more you sign up to receive, the more savings you'll get - so I think that really makes this subscription most beneficial to the collectors looking to complete full lines. If you're that collector, like me, then you'll have fun keep your list up-to-date and unboxing POPs each month. This month included an SNL POP that I've been waiting for - so that alone excited me!

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? There are no monthly themes and the POPs are a mystery, so your box will be different than what I receive. Your subscription also starts at the time of order.
