The Rachel Zoe Box of Style from The Zoe Report is a subscription box from Rachel Zoe. Each box includes a hero item which is revealed before boxes ship, and other fashionable items and accessories, plus a few beauty products and styling tools, too. I am a huge fan and love her taste, so this is one of my favorite style subscription boxes!

Bindya Lace-Up Cover-Up – Retail Value $115

This piece can work as a swimsuit coverup, a tunic, or even a dress depending on your height. (It's too short for me to wear as a dress at 5'7").

Here it is on with jeans for a casual look:

The shoulder to hem length is 31” and the width is 41.5”.

The top has defined sleeves, too. (Not a poncho).

I love the white-on-white lace and pom details. Subtle takes on new trends are perfect for me!

Skova Travel Towel – Retail Value $58

(This is the choice item for the box. Subscribers could pick one of two patterns.)

This terrycloth towel is oversized and square - it measures 59” x 59”, so it's perfect for a large towel at the beach, or for a picnic blanket. Here I am holding it to give you a better sense of scale:

It's huge! And it's made of 100% cotton with fringe accents. I'm obsessed with this pattern, too.

(Machine wash, no tumble dry.)

For Love and Lemon Loop Fringe Earrings – Retail Value $63

These earrings measure about 2.25” long and made from brass and cotton fringe.

These are a little out of my jewelry comfort zone, but I like them! And I appreciate that the fringe is a neutral color. (I'm wearing them in a photo below!)

Rachel Zoe for Box of Style Straw Bag – Retail Value $99

Just like the towel, this bag is larger than I expected! And I love that it can stand up on its own. The design is so classic, too.

It's a simple design inside, no pockets, but plenty of room. (And it's not a scratchy material!)

Does it pass the over-the-shoulder test? Yes, it does!

(And I think it looks good with the Box of Style sunglasses from last summer!)

Kate Somerville ExfoliKate Glow Moisturizer – Retail Value $65

I love the beauty brands Rachel Zoe picks for her boxes, and this one is another amazing brand!

This is an ingredient-conscious moisturizer (free of parabens, phthalates, and sulfates) designed to improve your skin's hydration, dullness, and uneven tone.

This skin cream smells great, feels amazing on my skin, and a little goes a long way, too. (FYI - it takes some time to fully absorb.)

This is a decadent cream that I will use every drop of! And considering this item alone costs $65, if you use the Memorial Day WKEND30 coupon to get this whole box for $69.99, it's like paying $5 for everything else in the box!

Verdict: This box has a retail value of $400. That's fab for $99.99! Even better with their $30 coupon! I'm so happy with everything in this box! It feels like a perfect summer vacation box, and I think the items are all really useful for lots of different ages and style preferences. (This is a box I feel like my mom would love as much as I do!) And getting a towel, beach bag, and beach coverup in one box is pretty amazing. (I'm totally OK with getting only 5 items in the box if that means more hero items!)

Are the pom poms on anyone’s tunic a complete mess? Straight out of the bag mine were missing, and joined together with a thread. It’s looks really cheaply done.

In case this box is still on anyone’s ” to buy” list, I wanted to add a few measurements which the BOS team didn’t provide.
Regarding the 100% Viscose ( Rayon) tunic, the measurements are: Bust straight down- 80 inches ( not counting accent lace). The back length as measured per clothing standards from neck to hem in the back is 29 inches. The front is variable just a bit because the top does slide around a bit.. but still, around 29 inches long.

I know RZ said the top was 41.5 inches wide, but this is front side seam to front side seam only. This is the way vintage clothihng items were/ are sometimes measured.:).

The straw tote is 21 inches wide at the top opening and tapers to 18 inches at the bottom. Max. depth is 12.5 inches. Straps have a 10 inch opening ( or drop) and are 1.25 inches.

It’s a great box for summer and I love the items. I’ll measure the earrings if anyone needs those measurements– I already put mine in a drawer, :).

Well, it’s one of those days. Fed Ex home delivery lost my BOS.. Or delivered it elsewhere.

I have no clue what they do for things like this. Anyone know? What if someone who received it opened it by mistake?

Fed Ex CS was not very helpful because Rachel Zoe’s packing facility or Fed Ex marked it ” No signature required” which is the norm for this area.. but not the norm today.

i thought you could file a missing package w/fedex, perhaps call back and try another CS + send message to BOS + call your credit card company + explain what happened – if you think it was stolen, you may have to file w/police to have documentation for all of the above, not sure…let us know how it goes! xx

Thank you so much! Turns out it was mis-delivered to our extremely kind and thoughtful closest neighbor.. He’s like 85 years old, recently lost his wife to Alzheimer’s, and walked all the way to our house in incredible heat to hand me my box, which was addressed to my puppy girl, :).
A funny side note– I wait for the good discounts to order, so have to create a new account. This one time, I went for the cute. I never expected to have to explain, but he did ask. LOL.
He’s getting a thank you card from my pup and me.

I always seem to change my opinion when the box arrives. The earrings are super cute! I used scissors to trim the fringe so it wasn’t so wide and long. Now that look fun and not so overwhelming.
Loved the skin care product! Full size and good for sensitive skin too! Black bag is large yet comfortable. I may add a fun black button and add a loop so that it stays shut.
The cover up is supper darling but is far to large and I feel that it looks unflattering because it’s too large. Will pass it along to a friend who is extra large. It would have been nice to select a size? I ordered the add on bracelet which was so beautiful and high quality. Nice cuff with a star design! Towel us nice size and colorful! Will use it!
I feel that I got my money’s worth ! Bummer that the coverup doesn’t fit… so I guess I”ll go shopping for one in cotton! Great box Rachel! Great review liz!

When does this box ship? I forgot to cancel, but still haven’t received a shipping notice. So far, not impressed with their customer service either. I’ve sent 3 messages and have received zero responses. Sounds like that’s pretty typical though. But I’d like to get my box I paid for months ago.

Just got my box and I love it! The earrings look so nice with the tunic. I’m a size 16/18 and it’s roomy. The tunic is super soft too. I got the lighter printed towel and I love it. I’ll be using the bag all summer. The only thing I won’t use is the lotion. My skin is too sensitive.

Thank you so much for some details on the sizing. I have an unusually large chest size, and the Spring duster looked like I had a child’s robe on. I was very disappointed that no one with an ample chest size had modeled the item for us, because many people had requested it.

Same with the robe from PSMH and this box. I want to know if it will fit a lady with a super sized bra who is still in a small size clothing ( just chooses judiciously) . 🙂

I really love this box, so I’m sad to say this but I highly recommend against it. When it goes well it’s great but when it goes bad, it’s awful. I know that I’ve posted this in a few places but I just want to warn people. Still waiting on a Spring box I paid for on Mar. 21st. After numerous attempts to contact on different social media platforms, I got the answer that my shipment was lost, they would send a new one via UPS with in 48 hours. 5 days later, on May 21st, I received tracking for Fedex that doesn’t work and Fedex has never heard of it. After emailing and posting on social media, I just received an email with APC tracking and telling me that the box hasn’t moved and they will check with their international shipper. This is the same box that originally went missing, so I guess that I’m back to square one. SOOO frustrating when you can’t even call them. Buyer beware and it sucks because the boxes are so nice, I love them.

I “tried” to cancel after receiving this box, sent email and they responded that they will cancel BUT only in August before next box ships?!? I wrote back and in nicest way possible + said, please cancel now and no response….given their track record I don’t trust them and worse you can not remove your credit card on file, ugh!

Pb, it’s interesting that they told you that you had to wait until August to cancel…. I sent them a cancelation request 2 days ago and in the comments told them it was because of their less than stellar customer service (sent 3 messages b4 receiving my box and no one got back to me, received my box the same day I cancelled, still nothing). Got the cancelation comfirmation today. It’s sad too because I really liked this box. But, no response made me feel like something shady was going on. And, it was about an add-on that I put in my cart but changed my mind about (prior to my box shipping) and wanted to remove it. Maybe send them another message and see what they say. On a side note, I don’t understand why subscribers have to wait until after they receive their box to cancel….

I just got my box and the tunic is good sized. I’m a 14/16 and it’s plenty roomy. I’d say it might fit up to size 20 or so. I think Rachel just has a phobia of large women (anyone bigger than a size 6) which is why she would never be size inclusive with her marketing even though her box is attempting to be.

I haven’t kept up with this site since the forum was taken down, but I was surprised to receive a shipping notification from Box of Style a few days ago. I was never notified about the choice item, so I’m getting the same towel in this review, when I’d prefer the other one. At least this looks nice too, but I wish they would have emailed subscribers (or maybe they did and it went to my spam folder?).

Like we all need a cover up that is a size zero to small. Come on…. and it’s dry clean only. So glad I don’t have a sub. I like these boxes but clothing that won’t fit a lot of ladies is wrong. Please offer other sizes. Another towel. While beautiful I already have some and getting another in my FabFitFun box

It’s not O-S, OS (one size fits most)! It is very large. I’m a size 12 and I’m swimming in it. We’ve heard from size a size 24 who said she can wear it as a blouse.
I’m not a big fan of this box and have actually cancelled my subscription but get your facts straight before you complain.

Oh no! I hadn’t thought about the cover up not fitting. So I’m a size 16. I just assumed it would be my size. Dummy to assume I guess. So all of them are the same size? Wonder if anyone larger has tried it for comparison.

I’m a size 24 and it fit me. Obviously probably not as intended or like it fits Liz but I can and will wear it this summer to the pool with shorts.

I just received my box and this is the most usable box in quite a while! I was not excited about anything except for the tunic (they sell this brand at Neman Marcusand are so cute!), but in person the bag and earrings were much better than in the pictures! The earrings actually are light-weight and look cute with the tunic! I almost didn’t even try them on (not my style) so you might want to give them a chance! 😀
