I just received my box – the remaining three items are BH Cosmetics sculpt and blend mini 3-brush set, Bioderma micellar water (3.33 oz), and The Laundress wash & stain bar.

Canceling my subscription now.

I am also not enamored with these spoilers so far… Hope the rest of the box is better, especially since I had to wait to sign up.

Hoping the box comes out well and while everyone is saying the price increase is no big deal it moves ricky’s from the ipsy and birchbox bracket to that of allure who has hit it out of the park this month so when there was a choice between ricky’s and birchbox it was the easiest thing in the world but now I really want that walnut scrub!

Ricky’s is a great box! The price increase is not that big of a deal. They were selling out every month. They needed to grow to accommodate their many subscribers and people waiting. I for one look forward to this growth and will stick with them.

One would think since they just took on a TON of subscribers, and then announced a price increase… They would really try to “WOW” all of us this month.

Don’t they realize so many have their fingers on the “Cancel” button over the price increase? This was their chance to show us that it was worth it. And they’ve stated the value of the box won’t increase, even though the monthly price would?

So far, I’m not impressed by the spoilers, and will probably be one of the ones to press the Cancel button. So disappointing, especially after being so excited to finally get off the wait list.

I loved shopping at Rickys when I worked in NYC, but so far my first month of this sub looks pretty sad! Unless they chose to spoil the least exciting items in the box….
With the price increase and uninspired products this may be a one month sub for me!

I am also so disappointed with the online shop. The store is so vibrant and well stocked.

The benefit of the 25% off would be HUGE if the online store was anything like the actual store.

I joined Ricky’s to try things that are out of my comfort zone. This is not an Allure or ipsy alternative, people! Sure, I’m pale and can’t wear highlighter, but I can mix it into my sunscreen or moisturizer and see if that works. I see Ricky’s as a toy box for experimentation. I bet that all the people who complained about the price waste much more than $14 a month in places like Starbucks.

Use highlighters as eyeshadows! It’s what I do for my pale skin. I can get away with a highlighter is a REALLY pale color, but- They make great light catching eyeshadows. 😡

I had my daughter get me the ABH glow palette for Mothers Day to use with my eyeshadows!! I just love highlighters but do not own a liquid one yet. They have soooo many uses not just for shiny nose and cheeks. My favorite use is to put it over lipstick to make lipstick appear metallic.

I’m glad this is my last box. I have yet to use any item I have ever gotten from them. It is all very low end beauty items. Jcat is garbage

Well this will be my first and only I canceled when I heard of the price increase . I have no idea what you do with that stuff on the arm. What a shame they went and jacked the price I was excited because it was a great deal. I’m not very happy with this box , hope the other items are better.

I like to wear illuminating drops under my foundation. I do my skin care, sunscreen, primer and then this. Gives me a nice glow without being glittery. My skin doesn’t have that natural glow anymore so I need to fake it. So I’m glad to get another color!

Right I don’t think people realize you can mix it with lotion and add a nice shimmer to your skin. You don’t have to use it as highlighter if that is not your thing.

Agree! I considered subbing just for the drops 😍 I’ve tried the Aurora drops from cover FX and loved it.. in lotion, on cheekbones ❤️👏🏽

I’m excited too! I will probably blend the drops with my tinted moisturizer or foundation. Hopefully, I get one of the lighter shades but without adding too much probably any shade will do.

I was billed today. And I received an e-mail this morning about shipping delay. It’s really no big deal. Everyone please give some slack here.
Also some people will like the products and some won’t. I’m one that’s excited to try. Cultcrushes has been faithful and always answers my emails. I saw a Instagram story how they appoligized to everyone. If you don’t have Instagram I will tell you they keep you up to date on things there too. I know this site is our go too but please be patient with them. They are working hard to make you all happy.

The posted that they don’t get back to customer service requests in IG. But they don’t get back to customer requests through their site either. I am not the only one with this issue, that is why so many of us are frustrated. I have subscribed for two months, with significant issues both times and no responses or resolution from Ricky’s. When I have heard back it’s been frustrating doubletalk and after 5 business days.

I have been subscribed to Boxycharm for the same time frame. I don’t even know if they have a custom service department (JK) because I have no need. That’s the way it should be.

Oooh, hoping for that very pink one on the left! I’m also jazzed for the Pure Paw Paw. I got it in some other box awhile back, but the scent wasn’t a good fit. Strawberry should be good.
