Snakku has released spoilers for the June 2018 Signature Box! The theme for June is Teas of Japan:
This month, experience a wide variety of snacks made from organic matcha tea and hojicha tea produced by using traditional eco-friendly, tea farming and harvesting methods.
Matcha (抹茶) is derived from the same plant that produces green tea, but goes through different farming and processing methods where the tea leaves are grown in the shade then ground to a fine powder.
Hojicha (ほうじ茶) is cultivated in the same way as regular green teas but the leaves are pan roasted at extremely high temperatures then immediately cooled. This process gives Hojicha a cleaner crisper flavor.
Below are just some of the snacks that will be in the June'18 Teas of Japan Snakku Box!
