Each box comes with a fold-out card detailing the items included.

Now, on to the items!

Aidan + Alina Market Bag - Retail Value $80

This is a roomy and sturdy tote!

The exterior is denim with rose gold leather accents, and the interior is a hot-pink nylon:

I love that the lining is spill-proof, so it's great for using as a shopping bag, or general tote.

Here it is in hand to give you a better sense of scale:

I love an oversized tote, and the lining on this makes it extra useable - I think it would be a fun beach bag, too.

Topanga Candle in ShangriLaLa - Retail Value $18

I'm impressed with this candle! It's made with 100% soy wax and natural essential oils, so the retail price of $18 is really reasonable. This scent is a blend of jasmine, sandalwood, vetiver, musk, iris, and cedar wood. (Subscribers will receive one of the various scents.

My Mahana Bracelet Set - Retail Value $75

This set includes 4 different bracelets with silver accent beads:

Mahana Intention pieces are made with crystal gemstones sourced from all over the world. These healing stones give the wearer strength and stability in times of change and provide guidance and clarity in difficult situations. They can strengthen one's connection with mother earth and life purpose. Adding a personal touch makes these beads a powerful tool to bring you YOUR intention.

I've received a few similar bracelets in past subscription boxes, but these are my favorite because the beads are smaller scale, and they aren't too loose on my wrist. Here they are on:

And I love these sea glass colors.

Govino 12-ounce Cocktail Glass 2-Pack - Retail Value $8.95

I'm always happy to see Govino in a subscription box - they are perfect for Summer and outdoor events, but also work great at home since they are dishwasher safe (top rack) and BPA free!

There's an indent on one side to make them easy to hold.

And even if you drop one, no worries, they are shatterproof!

Jessie Steele Pot Mitt - Retail Value $9

I'm having a subscription flashback! Remember when FabFitFun sent a Jessie Steele apron?

This pot mitt is made with heavy-duty cotton canvas and lined with a soft terry cloth.

I am still using the same old pot holder we've had for years, so this is a welcome addition to our kitchen.

Godiva Chocolates Tote Bag - Retail Value $7.50

This set of four chocolates includes:

  • Chocolate Lava Cake Truffle
  • Creme Brulee Truffle
  • Milk Chocolate Truffle
  • Strawberry Cheesecake Truffle

These were just as delicious as you'd expect from Godiva! (And if you're a big Godiva fan, I recommend checking out our review of their subscription!)

Odeme Fete Dessert Plate Set - Retail Value $27

Odeme has been featured in POPSUGAR boxes in the past and I love their items, so I was thrilled to see this plate set in the box!

These dessert plates measure 6 inches across

And extra good news – these melamine plates are dishwasher safe!

Simple Ecology Mesh Reusable Produce Bags - Retail Value $9

These bags are made from unbleached, unwashed organic cotton knit fabric. The muslin bag is good for storing delicate greens like lettuce and spinach in the refrigerator. The mesh bag is good for circulation for storing items like onions and potatoes.

Verdict: This box has a value of about $234! I think that is great for a $75 box! Especially considering that they allowed subscribers to customize their bracelet choice. And this box included a mix of brands I love to see in subscription boxes, and some new discoveries, too!

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? This box is available as a one-time purchase for $50.

No one will probably ever see this comment, but I have a burning question – so which items did annual subs actually get to customize? Is it just the bracelets? Sugarbash always says that annual subs get over 50% customization, so do they get to pick more stuff?

Despite the shipping delay I enjoyed my box and thought that it was well put together– only the bracelets seemed a bit out of place. On another note, why are are there random FFF comments on this thread?

50 seems good for the box but 75 seems to high. Too bad.

I thought the same thing!

I liked this box also. I especially love the tote and use it practically every day. I chose the blue bracelets and I also love the potholder and the produce bags. I receive mine for about 48 dollars (previous subscriber) and I find it well worth it.

I LOVE Sugarbash. The items are always useful and top notch. I don’t use some and have given them away (the plates I gave to a young Mom with little ones—great size for the kids!!), and have traded a few. But overall, this box is fantastic!

Some of my long term use thoughts on the box:

– I love the simple ecology produce bags (almost bought more over the recent sale but with relatives over didn’t get time.) I’ve been using these quite often.

– I took the replacement Market Tote bag (my first had come damaged) on vacation with my family and really liked the size and waterproof lining. (It traveled rolled up in the diaper bag but once at our destination I pulled it out to be the on-the-go tote.) One downside is the odd strap placement – they really pull if the bag is loaded up and there is a lot of tension on the straps. Overall I only plan to use this as a vacation/trip bag, so it will not need to stand up to daily use. Otherwise, though, it’s very functional and roomy.

– The Pott Mitt is adorable. (I got the same Venice pattern, but there were variations) Unfortunately, it has no extra insulation and relies entirely on the terry cloth and canvas. That means heat transfers fast, so this is not a good mitt to carry something heavy across a room with. It works fine for cookies out of the oven though or for a setting out on the table to set something hot on.

– I am not a fan of the Govino cups. They are OK to drink out of, but they are really hard to get clean. Sometimes I have to wash them through the dishwasher twice.

I haven’t yet used the candle, nor wore the bracelets. (A few of my bracelets came with a plastic wire knot sticking out (rather than hidden) and some form of glue showing. They are still wearable, but it isn’t a style I personally wear so I might pass these on in a gift drive.) I swapped the plates for a different set of Odeme plates in a pattern I liked better, but haven’t used them yet either.

Overall the box was a bit of a miss for me (though I liked my replacement bag) but not a complete miss, as the produce bags I use daily and the tote was great on our family vacation (even my husband seemed impressed with it and liked that I could roll it bag down for compact travel.)

If you answered the survey about this box negatively or had any issues with a broken item a glitch canceled your account.I chose to skip this season because they weren’t releasing spoilers I went to check a few days ago and my account was canceled again!

All discussions about that are sadly gone but check your accountif you have this box and are expecting it because they tend to “glitch”

Jane

You got canceled because you skipped. Skipping is an automatic cancel per their many emails and FAQ.

Reply ButtonReply

Elena

That sounds so crazy. I’m so glad I didn’t bite when they said I’m off the waitlist. How subscription service builds a relationship with its customers is just too important for me.

Maria

My account was canceled. I emailed them and they said it was because I skipped the Summer box, the system will cancel you since skipping is not allowed. I checked my emails from them and it stated no skipping accounts will cancel automatically many times. They are correct!. No conspiracy here.

Julie

Then why have a skip button? At this point I’m fine with being canceled because I never read the FAQ section. I saw the option which I thought was best suited for me at the time and mistakenly thought it meant what it said.

PudgeKat

I found this box to be very useful and love the market tote. Looking forward to seeing what else is in the summer box since I can’t use the earrings.

How do you puchace for $50? I only see $75.

Reply ButtonReply

Let’s Swap

Me too! So it is not available at $50?

Jane

It isn’t a mistake. The $50 was the Black Friday deal that most of us got. The box is $75 now.

Cjchav

I loved the bracelet, candle, chocolates and my dessert plates. However this was the spring box and it came so late. Hope the summer box doesn’t take as long to get here!

Holy smokes, that FFF box was my first, and I’ve been obsessed with MSA for four years this summer. o___o

Liz Cadman

4 years! OMG thank you so much! 🙂

Kelly

Liz, how do certain people become reviewers for MSA? I’ve seen there are a few new reviewers and wondered how they were fortunate to do this? I only sub to 3 boxes and give away a lot (or trade sometimes). I can’t work and get crazy bored and need a hobby or something to do once in awhile n

Eileen

I like the tote bag a lot.

Cas

The one-time purchase price is $75, not $50. That would upset a LOT of subscribers!

Jessica

Oh man, that 2014 FFF review! Crazy to see how much MSA and FFF have both grown since that time.

Mandy

Wow, I just found my all time favorite Yoga socks.. They were from the 2014 FFF box!! AND were a LE so I never could find them again anywhere.
Now I know.

Those are really sweet little things sourced in the box but I have to say it- the items in this box gave me a really bad deja vu. Little Lace box deja vu except the tote bag.

I loved this box! The items were useful and I enjoyed them all.
