They already sent a nars highliter/contour..why another one so close together?? I got one in boxy and don’t even need, want nor use them.

And my tarte pallette I was going to gift is awful with bumps and one pan has a bubble where once it gets used a little bit, it will crumble out the whole thing.

This sub for the price is horrid.

How did they handle this issue well? Tribe KNEW there was an issue – and yet decided to ship anyway. And Tribe decided for the customer – not allowing them to cancel but only offering a 10% discount instead. Yeah – they obviously had to say SOMETHING as they KNEW they were sending out faulty products to well-paying customers. Greedy really – and cheap. Horrible customer service actually – why does the customer care what the reason behind sending out bad products are. They are trying to lay a guilt trip on the customer. Not our fault you stored your products incorrectly. You are in the beauty box business – you should store your products correctly. Huge red flag.

Tribe could have offered to replace products in three weeks when they received new, undamaged products, but NOPE – laid a guilt trip, didn’t offer customers an opportunity to cancel even knowing before they shipped out there was an issue, and instead decided to keep people’s money and offer a lame 10% discount. It makes it worse that they KNEW there was a problem BEFORE they shipped out products. They don’t care about quality control – there are far too many options out there to settle for yet another Tribe f* up. Get it together Tribe – this is not how you run a business.

They handled this so well. Like another commenter said, I’m not a subscriber but this level of customer service makes me want to become one.

So Tarte palettes are produced in Canada? I wonder why.

Whoa, I am not a subscriber normally but I am considering it based on how they handled this. They explained the issue, what they decided, their reasoning, and how they would make it right. That is awesome. Way to go tribe.

Tribe is a wonderful company, and they offer you fabulous products that are not normally in makeup subscription boxes, this was handled very well by the company and most of us makeup lovers/collectors know this happens to a lot of palettes in the heat and they still work normally there is not a thing wrong with the palette it just gets small air pockets from the heat I have seen this happen with my Kat Von D, Colourpop and Tarte palettes during the hot weather this is why I always keep my makeup in an air-conditioned room now. It is so sweet of the company to offer 10% off on Junes box. What a great way to handle this I love honesty in a company. GO TRIBE!

Upon delivery of the products for the L.E. box, we realized that some (78 of them) Tarte palettes had minor “bumps” on them and decided to investigate. Upon investigation, we realized that our merchandise was kept in a room without air conditioning during the shipment period, which caused some of the palettes to “sweat”. Please note that we’ve done extensive research and have asked industry professionals, this is totally safe for your skin and the product is still in good condition. What happens, in this case, is that the product forms very tiny “bumps” in reaction to this. In addition to this, 82 palettes were completely shattered either by Canada customs who investigate the packages at the border or the delivery courier. Thankfully we had ordered in excess and that didn’t delay shipment. Those broken palettes will be fixed and donated.
As we can’t note who got this palette and who did not, well be issuing a 10% discount to the June box.

I appreciate Tribe being upfront and providing a discount. The assurance that the products are safe to use is great. Once I put a brush in it it won’t be pristine anyways! I love Tribe and cannot wait for my LE and discovering what’s coming in June’s.

I think they handled this well by addressing the issue before people complained and offering money back.
