When you sign up, you'll enter your sizes and what sort of styles you like, love, and dislike. (Full-length bottoms or shorts? T-shirt style tops or bra tops? Bold patterns or solid colors?) Then, the stylists at YogaClub will select items to send straight to your door. You'll receive products from brands like Teeki, Manduka, Cozy Orange, Onzie, Steve Madden, Splendid, and more for up to 60% off, according to YogaClub's site.

Recently, YogaClub changed its options from several levels of monthly subscriptions to a monthly or a seasonal (every 3 months subscription). This is a review of the Seasonal Guru Box, which is $79.00 every 3 months.

YogaClub Guru Subscription May 2018 Review

I got a Bright Cellars coupon in my box! Find out more about Bright Cellars here.

Just as a heads up, I'm a 36B bra, a size medium top, and a large in bottoms (I wear about a size 10 in jeans). I'm also only 5' 3", so I'm on the shorter side.

yoga club may 2018 buddha leggings

yoga club leggings detail

Niyama Sol Barefoot Sage Leggings, Size Large - Retail Value $88.00

My favorite thing about these leggings is that they're made from recycled plastic water bottles! The 84% RPET/16% Spandex fabric is on the thinner side, so it fits closely and smooth against my body. I do feel like the high waistband isn't terribly tight around my waist, meaning it's got a good chance of rolling down mid-flow. But the color and pattern is definitely cool, and the fit is super comfortable.

Free People Black Bra, Size Medium - Retail Value $68.00

I couldn't find this bra online but the tag says the MSRP is $68.00. This (81% Nylon/19% Spandex) bra has a mesh-like exterior and a smooth, stretch fabric lining that feels suuuuper comfy against my skin. The mesh gives it a bit of visual interest, and the halter shape makes it more supportive than I would've thought.

yoga club gold hand tank

LA Soul Hand Tank, Size Large - Retail Value $50.00

I couldn't find this shirt anywhere online, but I feel like the $50.00 price tag is a liiiiittle high? It's 65% cotton and 35% polyester, so it's not anything super... special? The fit is a little so-so, too, just because it's so thin. The scooping bottom hem isn't the best look for my body, either. But the tank is comfortable and easy enough to throw over a bra on my way out to the gym or out for a run on a hot day.

The Verdict: I wasn't wild about the tank top in this YogaClub, but the leggings and bra were both awesome. I like the fit and the feel of both looks, plus they're aesthetically up my alley. The fact that the leggings are made from recycled materials also really makes me feel good about wearing them. I estimate that I got about $206.00 of value. Even without counting the tank that I didn't like, I got $156.00 worth of value. Not bad.

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? Everyone's box is curated to fit their specific style, needs, and size, so what I got in my box this month might be different than what you get. But that also means you might get something that you love even more! Get started here.

Value Breakdown: This seasonal box after shipping costs $93.95, but I estimate that I received $206.00 in value. That means that via the subscription, the proportional cost per item was:

  • Tank: $22.80
  • Leggings: $40.13
  • Bra: $31.01

Aw thank you, AH!!! I know I’ve been doing it for awhile now, but it’s still a little nerve-wracking putting photos of yourself online (especially in workout clothes, haha), so these words of encouragement are MUCH appreciated <3

Thanks so much for reading!
