April 2018 'Battle' ZBox Review

The Battle theme features items from Street Fighter, Overwatch, Thor, and Battlestar Galactica.

It arrives with an information book that details each item and provides a few quick reads.

Street Fighter Shirt - Value $15?

This month's exclusive shirt features that Ryu uppercut. Can you hear that soundbite when you look at this?

I'm into this design - fans will know what it is, yet it's still a bit subtle.

Battlestar Galactica Coin - Value $10-15?

Alright, here we go - they're back again with an exclusive minted collector's coin - this month features Battlestar Galactica. 4 of the past 5 months have included a franchise collector coin - so it's becoming almost a guaranteed item.

You'll either receive the silver coin or the gold coin. The gold coin is a much more limited mint - there are only 1,000 created. Some of the coins are going for a higher price on eBay as well - so there may be more value in there - this is one item that will be very much on the individual to value.

Widowmaker POP - Value $8 on Amazon

Every subscriber will receive an Overwatch Widowmaker POP vinyl.

Don't throw away the little plastic stand if you're looking to display this out of the box!

This also seems to be the same exclusive POP from Loot Crate's November 2017 box - this exclusive white outfit was made for Loot Crate - you can actually see the circle outline from the sticker and that's a bummer because that will remove any type of exclusive value from it!

Thor Ragnarok Wallet - Value $15?

The last item in the box is from Thor: Ragnarok. It's a heavier duty wallet.

This one is a bit on the chunky side for wallets - but I love the Hulk vs. Thor design on each side.

Verdict: ZBox has a great price point, and while shipping form the UK can sometimes cause delays, overall it's typically worth the cost. I'm curious about how far they're going with the coins, though - as someone who isn't a coin collector, they are just taking up some value for me - but there seem to be some avid collectors out there - how are other subscribers feeling about it?

To Wrap Up:

Love Zbox but wish they would stop with the coins. Getting the Jurassic Park one was awesome, getting 3 or 4 others after that…not so awesome.

I wish they would just sell them as they later did with the Jurassic Park one. I belive that one sold out. Leave them out of the boxes (or drop one in just a few times a year) and just put them up for sale for those who want them.
