June 2018 Brick Loot Review

The June theme was just in time for the latest entry into the Jurassic Park universe - Jurassic World! It's themed "Brickasaurus World" and feature some fun nods to the films.

Each delivery arrives with a card that details each item in your box.

Minifigure Sticks Set - Value $5-10?

I wanted to start here because I just thought this was so cool - it had me as excited as Ian Malcolm!

These are little sticker sets to transform any Minifigure into your favorite Jurassic Park character!

"Dino Smuggler" Minifigure - Value $10?

Speaking of Minifigures - how great is this Dennis Nedry figure, complete with Barbasol can!

I just had to pop this in there! You can even pop the Hawaiin shirt sticker onto your figure to give him a different look.

Each Brick Loot tends to have a Minifigure based on the theme - but this is by far my favorite.

OK - on to the builds!

Velociraptor Build - Value $15?

Brick Loot tends to send out at least one exclusive build-kit from a featured brick designer - this one comes from Aaron.

This was one of the quicker builds I've had from this subscription - let's be honest, who doesn't love a good Velociraptor.

A short 11 steps later and "Bingo! Dino DNA."

Pop them together and pit them against eachother!

Dino Eggs - Value $10-15 each?

That second dinosaur comes from these Dino Eggs - we got three eggs.

The builds were pretty easy and fun to pose.

We also received the Pterosauria kit, and...

Ankylosaurus - they're all around 10-11 steps to pop together. These are random, so you could get different dinos than me.

Verdict: 4 dino builds and a Dennis Nedry Minifigure? Sign. Me. UP! This was easily my favorite Brick Loot to-date!

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? No. You’ll find the current available theme in their top banner of the website.

Are there actually brand name LEGO in this box? All of it seems like knock-offs, especially the “Jurassic world” stuff?
