Looks like they are putting a lot of product rejects in a box and calling them exclusive. While I don’t hate the box, I would never spend $35 on these items. Not worth it. Better to get a few really great things than to fill a box full of junk/stuff.
I would have loved a box with the planner folio, then fill it with, markers, stickers, and an EC notebook. I am sure they could have pulled it off at a $60 value. What hapo

super bummed about this being my first seasonal box after seeing the previous ones that were sold out!

This looks like the stuff in the front section of Target when you first walk in the door. I wouldn’t pay $10 for it.

I have to agree with this and I unfortunately took the plunge. This was my first seasonal surprise box. This is totally target dollar spot type stuff. I’ll use the sunglasses case and the markers. Nothing wrong with journal…i just prefer dot grid. The pineapple notepad could have been way better. It really comes across as a $1 notepad.

Took the thought right out of my head.

lol That’s exactly how I felt! My first thought was “wow, now that’s a box of junk!”

The tumbler and glasses case are very functional and I will get a lot of use from them. The pineapple items are cute. Overall, I think it’s worth the $35. They set the bar really high with their first few boxes and from a business standpoint there is no way they were going to be able to maintain that level of value.

Doesn’t seem close to breaking even value-wise

I agree. There is no way I would pay $35 for this box.

I think EC needs to get back to the stationary aspect of these boxes. I will say though… at least this box has 3 pens and a little notebook. The boxes from last year were a lot better.

I totally agree. I purchased one, even after spring’s fiasco. They had assured everyone these were going to be planner focused. Three pens, a notepad, and a journal? Not even a cover included. I’m so disappointed. I don’t need another dollar store cup! And elastic hair ties? How the heck are these related to planning. Hopefully, I won’t make the same mistake. I think I’m done. 😢

I agree with your post. This was my first surprise box and I was very disappointed. I shop from this company because I love their “planning” supplies. I was not expecting a tumbler, eyeglass case, and hair elastics that will have minimal to no use for myself.
