I just got my box last week! (sent them a reminder email as the tracking showed it had a label, but had never made it to the post office, for a month..) But they mailed it out after the reminder and it finally made it. It impressed me in person a bit more than from the spoilers – the seashell scarf was lovely!

Does any one know when the Fall box will be billing or a spoiler releasing? I know summer was very late–but are they back on track schedule wise now? Trying to decide if I want to remain subbed..and need to know my time limit 🙂 Thanks in advance

Finally received my box today. I didn’t have the Brevina foot cream. I actually received the Brevena restore and hydrate overnight cream rv 89.00 so I guess that’s a plus The palette is large and I like the colors.Nice scarf but I sub to so many boxes that I have a plethora of scarfs. I actually paid full price for the box. Would I subscribe again? No the box was disappointing. I have cancelled

I don’t understand these women that sub to a multiple companies and don’t expect to receive duplicate items or brands? Then complain about smaller subs???? I got the same box as you the box is valued at $260 and we paid $75! There needs to be a blog for women with a ton of subs so they stop bring down subs for those of us that only have one sub and love it.

So the scarf is definitely the substitute item? They must have known that customs would be holding up the home item for quite some time because the info foldout had the scarf description AND stated that it was specially made for Sugarbash. I got the BF deal but I don’t think that I would have been happy if I had paid $75. The Foot Balm is a small tube– I can’t believe that is the real value.

Brevna is a very high end skincare brand. Their websites states the retail value the same as Sugarbash had it. You only need to use a little.

I was really looking forward to getting this box. I feel it needed one more item to complete the box. I really like the substitute wrap/scarf the best of all! I think it’s soft, pretty and versatile.

I had such high hopes for the earrings. I loved the spoiler. But the earrings are heavy and huge. Such a shame. I’m aware that it’s a matter of personal preference though.

My personal opinion is that this box needed some oomph, maybe another item would’ve given it an edge.

Totally agree with you. Scarf is nice but the earrings. Too heavy so it will never be worn and I will have to toss them. The cosmetic bag is EXACTLY the same one that I bought at Tuesday Morning for $2.00 on clearance. No difference in construction or design. I also received the wrong eye palette. WILL NOT BE RENEWING MY YEARLY SUBSCRIPTION this year.

I love the earrings! I didn’t think they are heavy at all. I know the trend is large chiunky jewelry. So they are on trend.

This box was disappointing. The earrings look cheap imo. No one needs more salt spray. I could have sworn a chose a different palette but I don’t think they sent a confirmation so I cannot say for sure. Truthfully I already have more eyeshadow than I will ever wear anyway. I’m not sure to do with another cosmetic bag. I’m not a big scarf person but I hope it will work as a cover up. I’m not normally negative but I expected more with the price increase.

Same here. I like the earrings, the scarf ( will use as a pool/beach sarong). The bag is not my style, and i don’t want or need anymore sea salt spray (bottle is pretty) and eyeshadow palettes (at least this brand got good reviews and is cruelty free.).
I had high expectations with the price increase and in the past good reviews, but two mon in a row of shipping delays have me thinking I won’t resubscribe.
Plus I don’t see the brands they were touting. What’s up with that?

Oh and i also got the Brevena Restire overnight cream, rv is $89! Happy this came instead of foot cream and i just ran out of my face moisterizer. Great timing! This product alone makes up for any let down I have about this box.

I don’t hate the box but I don’t love it or feel the value. Would I go out and buy these earrings.. no not even for $5. Too big and heavy. FFF and ME did far better for less $$. Will not be back when my sub runs out

I got my box today. I like the scarf they subbed in, but the earrings are so heavy! I can’t stand heavy earrings, so they are probably going to my sister, who doesn’t mind heavier ones.

So sad! That spoiler coupled with the theme was the only reason I stayed subscribed.

That would be a huge bummer, since my hope for a nautical home item – especially Crate & Barrel, was the reason I didn’t cancel. And if they are only going to mail it out in Fall, that means I can’t cancel if I want it…uggh.

It’s nice they are replacing it with a higher value item (And theoretically including the original item as a bonus and not in place of one of the items in the fall box) – but I don’t have the same use for a scarf as I would for the home item. I have a ton of scarves already, and quite a few in the blue color range. (Plus, Margot Elena sent the amazing blue/white turkish towel in their box which is going to end up in my Guest room for something.)

Well, that stinks. I am cancelling after this box so won’t get my other item. I just don’t see the value – even at the $48 price I have…. And I didn’t get (or see) the email about the palette so wasn’t able to customize – which doesn’t really matter since I didn’t get my first choice of bracelet color last box…

I feel the value is there. I got my box today and the total value is over $200. I love the foot cream and that is $49 by itself. I paid the same price for the entire box. Someone said it here before maybe a lot of the sub addicts have hit fatigue.

Part of it is that with sub boxes like these, high rv is kind of expected – but it often feels inflated. I’d never pay $50 for plated brass earrings when I can get actual silver with freshwater pearls or amber for $10-$30. The foot cream looks nice – but Margot Elena sent an amazing foot cream in its box with an rv of $28 – so is a $50 cream going to be twice as good? I don’t know until I try it, but it’s hard to be enthused when something I see more as a complementary item takes up a quarter of a boxes value.

Fatigue/product overload is a real problem, too, but sub boxes also have to keep that in mind to stay competitive. With more and more boxes available, companies have to think about not just about the advertising rv they can claim, but how much a box is going to feel worth it to a customer. FFF does this by usually having 9+ items so if one is a miss it’s not a big deal. Margot Elena does this by having tight curation and a wide variety of items and scents. Both those subs are about $50 a month and deliver over $200 in value – Sugarbash is trying to compete at $75 for the same promised rv. Even Box of Style goes on sale for $75 – it’s a tough market sliver.

With their choice to replace a home good with an accessory, it turns this season’s box into more of a fashion/makeup box than a lifestyle box as well. Admittedly they probably didn’t have many options last minute, but they *could* have simply mailed out the item later.

Hmmm. I already got my box yesterday. LOL. It’s nice to know another item will be coming in Fall, though. I missed a home item this round. The two items included that aren’t in the spoilers were a scarf (white with blue pattern) and a bottle of salt spray for your hair.

It says that VIPs got to customize the palette. When I got my survey, I could only choose earring color. I am VIP. What the heck? Did anyone else get to choose their palette? I thought VIPs could customize most of the box……..of course this only applies when more than one choice is available….

I actually got two emails back-to-back. In one I was only given a choice of earring. In the other I had earring and palette choices (to rank). I was hoping the palette one “stuck” since it was the one I did last and I did end up getting the palette I ranked first if I remember correctly. That could be coincidence or not, though, I suppose….
