The Rachel Zoe Box of Style from The Zoe Report is a subscription box from Rachel Zoe. Each box includes fashionable items and accessories, plus a few beauty products and styling tools, too. I am a huge fan and love her taste, so this is one of my favorite style subscription boxes!

Here's everything in the Summer box:

And here's a closer look at the poncho in the box:

Bindya Lace-Up Cover-Up – Retail Value $115

And thanks to reader suggestions, several MSA reviewers are modeling this for you!

From Nicole:

This tunic screams summer! The fabric is so soft and lightweight, plus I absolutely love the pom pin details! This can be worn as a cover-up at the pool or beach, or worn out and about with wild print leggings and retro mule sandals for that Peg Bundy at the beach look!

From Kim:

I absolutely love this tunic! I styled it with dark blue skinny jeans, navy Sperry’s, and a nautical-themed bag. The material was breathable, lightweight, and soft, and the embellishments provided the perfect amount of structure. I have a large chest (36DDD), so even though it felt really wonderful to wear, it wasn’t as flattering as I expected. The v-neck certainly helped to accentuate the neckline, especially because of the amazing lace up feature, but I didn’t pull it off as well as I would have liked. I most definitely would wear this again but would add one important feature - a belt at the waist. This would really help create more of an hourglass figure and make it look as fantastic as it felt!

From Colette:

I love this type of piece for summer, and styled it over a simply navy shirt dress, with lots of gold accessories (including the white clutch from the winter BOS). I decided to use a dress under it, instead of a skirt, to help mitigate any see-through issues that I might have in white fabric. I layered a few long gold necklaces, gold sandals, and large gold earrings for a summer date/night look. I can see myself wearing this outfit out to dinner on a beach vacation! I also love it layered with the Tilo Sarong / Scarf (from the May Luxor Box) - for a windy or cool night at the beach. There are so many options for this versatile piece! Although, I will say that at 5 feet tall I most certainly could not wear it as a stand alone dress, due to the shorter length in the front!

From Christen:

I styled this tunic simply with jeans, brown booties, and gold fringe earrings. I love that its has little pompoms, a lace-up neckline, and tasseled ties and wanted those details to stand out. Now that the summer heat is upon us, this is definitely an outfit I'd wear to a casual Friday in the office, where the air conditioning is on but I still want to look and feel summery, and then I'd swap out my jeans and booties for a skirt and sandals for the weekend!

I’m just downright disgusted with the lack of customer service at box of style. I have tried without satisfaction to place an order for over six weeks with a voucher purchased at Gilt. By the time I finally got a response from the customer service team the voucher had expired now I received no box and lost my money all because the response time is so lacking. It was supposed to be a gift for my mom whose birthday was in early July I will never order from this company again.

I hope you have your emails because I’d either contact Gilt, PayPal or the card you paid with and get a refund.

I actually think this piece looks better on women with larger frames and pregnant women. I’m pretty petite, and I’m swimming in it! I think I look kind of ridiculous in it, but maybe it would look fine as a swimsuit cover-up. Maybe a belt could make it more workable as a tunic, but without one, I look like a little kid trying on mommy’s clothing.

Exact same w/ me. I am 5 ft. It swallowed me

Great feature, MSA, especially for a “one size fits all” item. Keep up the great work! <3

Yay! Thank you! 🙂

I really love it, but mine arrived today damage ! With some kind of glue or something. I wrote to customer service today! Crossing my fingers to be answered soon!

Mine came defective! I’ve got what superficially looks like black smudges down the front, making it look like it’s dirty. But its not! Its the thread itself. I’m going to email with pictures and they better fix it!!

Yadira

I sent them an email with photos, and they sent me a new one in excellent condition.

Its nice to see something that does look good on a curvy women. I am so tired of getting items that are for really small people! I can’t tell you how many of robes or dusters I have looked at and thought well it will fit my 16 year old daughter. The only thing I don’t like about it is that it must be dry cleaned. Oh well, at least it fits!

I machine washed my white beach coverup in cold water, put it in the dryer for 5 minutes on low heat and then put it on a hanger to dry. Came out perfect, no shrinkage at all. I was worried about the pom poms falling off and they all made it through. I didn’t even touch it with the iron! Frankly I would only wear this at a pool or beach or as a travel robe. It is great for travel since it folds perfectly flat. I am very short, so I wore it alone as a cover up and it was fine and not too sheer. If you are taller, just put on a nightgown or PJ bottoms.

Why can’t they just offer S/M, L/XL, and Plus… Are you listening Box Of Style?! Your loosing business….

Mimi

This is literally the reason I canceled! Didn’t want another item I couldn’t wear!

Love the beautiful models! Representing!!!

Leah

Omg they all look so stunning. Especially with leopard pants or that adorable baby bump. I might get crucified for asking, but any chance you have one picture on a tiny girl? (I also mean height!) It’s a gift for my teeny tiny 5′ tall 100 lb mom and I’m afraid it might drown her frame.

Reply ButtonReply

Denise

I’m very plus size and I would NEVER shame you for asking that !! Everyone is different and has different needs. My poor niece gets harassed constantly for being too thin. It’s hurts her terribly. She has been thin all her life and says to me why do people think it’s ok to tell me to eat a hamburger or ask if I’m anorexic ? Just the fact that you want to get her a gift means you love her and think she’s a great mom. The only size that matters is the size of ones HEART !!!

Jules

LOVE THAT YOU DID THIS! You were able to showcase this on many different types of women and styles. Thanks!

T.Marie

You ALL look fabulous!

Love it. I was wavering on this box but this sealed the deal. It didn’t hurt that Gilt City sent me a coupon. $56 for the box is awesome.

Cat

Tell me more about this coupon…

Reply ButtonReply

Eileen

This was a good and a bad idea. Good because now I have an idea how it will look on me. Bad because now I have one more reason to buy the box.

Cat

Seriously that Peg Bundy look is everything and I love Nicole and want to steal her.

Reply ButtonReply

Denise

I love the Peg Bundy reference so much !! Her nightgowns were amazing and I collected Olga gowns back in the day. Sadly I “outgrew” them and have been thinking about selling them so someone else can enjoy them. But if they still fit I would still be wearing them lol. This tunic looks great on everyone.

Nicole Rieder

Denise, Peg Bundy is a queen! And omg vintage nighties are where it’s at!

Alex

I would purchase those Olga gowns from you!

Love these types of reviews! Fun to see the same thing on different bodies and personalities!

Nicole

Going for the Peg Bundy look cracks me up! Probably not a look I could pull off but I love it on you! Love this feature but would like even more body types modeled if possible next time. Kind of unsure how this will look on me still.

Reply ButtonReply

T.Marie

I agree. I’m 5’2″ and 130lbs; is this going to be to my knees? I’m going to rock it no matter what bc I can do that. I’m thinking Capri leggings and boots.

katie

Congrats Christen!!! You look so cute!

TK

I love this feature. I think it’s important to see these “one size fits most” items on different body sizes and types. I didn’t buy this box and probably won’t because at 5 feet 105 lbs I think this would look frumpy. I actually love the poncho/coverup but wish BOS would offer their clothing items in different sizes. If they did, I’d sub again.

Reply ButtonReply

Rebecca

I love these! Love seeing the items on real bodies. So on message for 2018!

Reply ButtonReply

Ann

Do tell us all your definition of a real body….

Reply ButtonReply

Lisa

Troll much?

J

My definition is an actual human, as opposed to the mannequins Liz used to use or the first spoiler image Zoe released which just had the tunic laying on a surface, so no body for scale or fit. I’m also grateful to see a variety of heights and builds to see how it will fit likely fit me or if it will be a suitable gift for various friends. What’s your definition of a real body Ann?

Kim

Ann, I’m sure Rebeccca didn’t mean anything by her comment. I read her comment as that the MSA portrayal of beautiful ladies wearing this tunic is far more indicative than RZ’s video where she had three model thin women of various heights. I loved seeing all sizes represented here; curvy, voluptuous, an expectant mom, and a shorter statute. I can now picture how this may look on me rather than a perfect RZ model. This was extremely helpful as often one size does not always fit all, especially when it comes to the items in this particular box. It also shows the versatility on different personalities and how this piece can be fit into your particular wardrobe and tastes.

Coreen

Love it on Nicole!

Janelle

Great post to feature a one-size item. I will shrink it with all my might, because I’m pretty sure this might look like a nightgown on me. I was worried about that, but it’s very pretty and it’s very hot here so it will be useful.

Reply ButtonReply

Jeanette

Love it!!!!

Reply ButtonReply

Jessica

Seeing Nicole modeling it gave me confidence this would fit me, and now I’m going to make the jump and buy the box!

Reply ButtonReply

Erika

Nicole looks absolutely fabulous in this; in fact, I would say she “Wore it Best” (that feature in some fashion magazine). I am a very average size (5’4″, size 8) and it does nothing for me.

Reply ButtonReply

T.Marie

Do it!!!

Reply ButtonReply

AmyM

Same!! I’ve been hesitating but now I know it will fit. Wooohooo!!

Reply ButtonReply

Laura

This was fantastic! Thanks so much.

Reply ButtonReply

Zo

“How we’re wearing it” is my favorite feature on MSA. I did not get this box but I enjoyed seeing everyone wear it differently. Keep doing these!

Reply ButtonReply

Cornflake

Same! I really appreciate the variety of body types and dressing styles. Love this!!
