Laserbrain Patch Co June 2018 Review
Surprise! It's Eric here to do a one-off review of the June Laserbrain Patch Co club! Why? Well, it features one of my favorite topics - 90's Nicktoons!
It comes with an information card. On one side, you'll get this image for you to frame or even color-in.
Flip it over to see ALL of the information on the items you're about to dig into.
Judy Funnie Pin - Listed Retail Value $9
Doug always brings me back to those early days of Patty Mayonnaise and Doug Funnie - and, naturally, I loved the dog, Porkchop! I'm going off on a slight tangent there, but I often go into rabbit holes with Nicktoons. This pin features Doug's older sister, Judy, who is obsessed with Shakespear - so calling her a 'drama queen' is absolutely a compliment.
CatDog Patch - Listed Retail Value $9
Late-90's Nicktoons brought us CatDog - a show that took me a little bit longer than usual to grasp onto - but in the end, it was a favorite. This is a take on the classic "snake wrapped in a dagger" tattoo - CatDog surely make it better!
It's about 5 inches from top to bottom and looks like it could be ironed on. I don't really have a spot for patches - does anyone have suggestions for patches outside of sewing it on clothing or a backpack?
Rocko Stick - Listed Retail Value $2
While this is a smaller value item - it features Rocko, so it's automatically one of my favorites. It's about 3 inches tall, and Rocko is featuring an extra special t-shirt and shoes variant for Pride Month!
Ring Pop - Listed Retail Value $.50
This is VERY much a blast from the past! String things, fruit by the foot, candy necklaces, fun dip, and ring pops - it's really a summation of my childhood favorites!
Color Changing Book-It Pencil - Value $.50
This thing is a dual-lane 90's item! It's color-change and it features Book-It, while rewarded you pizza for reading - I could still use that type of encouragement!
Verdict: This was my first time reviewing Laserbrain Patch Co - and it was really a blast since it hit my sweet spot. They hit a bunch of my favorite Nicktoons and still have much more room to do a second Nicktoons theme (hint hint).
