Vinyl Moon Volume 32 & 33 Review

What's better than a month of Vinyl Moon - two months in the same box!

Volume 32

Let's start with Volume 32 - it was themed "Cloudgardener".

You'll get this LP-sized information booklet. It'll give you details about each artist and song you're about to listen to - and gives you information about the graphic artist for the packaging.

As always, the presentation is beautiful.

It comes with this little thing...fold it up and piece it together...

And you get this little piece of additional artwork.

The art of Volume 32 is really perfect for my liking!

Music-wise, this was a mellow, almost singer-songwriter type of music, and I just loved it. It was a great album for winding down the day - front to back!

Volume 33

Volume 33 heads in a different direction with "Static In Motion".

Again, you'll get this little booklet that details the artists, songs, and the gatefold artist.

The gatefold has two little windows where pieces of this slide out card can be seen peeking through.

Flip the card over to get a different vibe to your cover art.

Again, Vinyl Moon is very good at sending out these little exciting touches!

This month's translucent pressing was one of my favorites.

Musically, it wasn't my cup of tea as it was all electronic. But, it took me out of my comfort zone for ten tracks - while it's not my favorite, I also had far from a bad time spinning it.

Verdict: Vinyl Moon is quickly becoming my favorite vinyl subscription - simply because I love discovering both the artwork and the music each month. Even better, we also received a digital download of each album this month - that's always a nice little bonus for vinyl buyers.

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? No. Orders placed after the 15th of a month will be shipped in the following month’s box.
