Yogi Surprise May 2018 Review
This month centers around living your dharma. It looks like Yogi Surprise has redesigned their info card—it's now a booklet!
There's a promo card for online yoga classes.
I also got a promo card for Fire and Bloom.
Yogi Surprise Live Your Dharma Tote Bag
This tote bag is made of 100% cotton. It's on the thin side, but it'll still be useful for bringing my keys, phone, and spare clothes to yoga class.
Yogi Surprise Dharma Bracelet
I really like the simple elegance of this amethyst-beaded bracelet. It has a unique clasp—it's more of a small bead that you can pull the ends of the bracelet through to let it out or tighten it. When the bracelet is fully let out, it's about 10.5" around (the opening is about 3" across). I love the way the purple complements the yellowy gold chain. The booklet calls this an "amethyst crystal bracelet", so I assume the beads are actually made out of that crystal.
Fractalista Designs Etched Selenite Meditation Palm Stone "Om Mandala" - Retail Value $20.00
The closest version of this stone online is listed as being 2.5" but this one is actually 3" long. According to the info booklet, this stone is meant to help you contemplate what you have to give to and receive from the world. It's smooth on one side and has an om design etched into the other. It's really satisfying to hold and roll around in your hand thanks to its smooth texture.
Matr Boomie Tree-Free Paper Notebook
I love keeping notebooks nearby for jotting down thoughts or to-dos, and this 6" x 4" notebook is perfect for tossing into my bag (maybe my new tote bag!). I really appreciate that it's made with cotton and recycled materials. The binding is done with a string, so it has a rustic vibe about it.
Solar Plexus Chakra Incense Sticks by Solder and Sage - Buy a set of all chakras for $60.00 here
This charcoal incense smells fresh and light. It's a vetiver scent that's meant to ignite your personal power (which lives in your solar plexus chakra). The pack came with a coupon, too!
Scentuals Scent Free Moisturizing Hand & Body Lotion, 250 ml - Retail Value $11.52
I love a good hand lotion. This unscented formula contains nourishing shea butter that feels sumptuous and melted beautifully into my skin. The bottle says that this natural formula is gentle enough for folks with eczema, psoriasis, and sensitive skin. It's a big bottle, too!
Derma-E Essentials Radiance Toner, 6 fl. oz. - Retail Value $14.95
This toner has rooibos and glycolic acid in it in order to remove dead skin and refresh your face without stressing out the skin with alcohol. The formula is cruelty-free, GMO-free, gluten-free, soy-free, recyclable, and made with wind energy, to boot! My skin gets really oily and stressed in the summer heat, but this toner helped it feel fresh and much more matte and clean.
The Verdict: I enjoyed the products in this month's box. I liked that the natural angle of this subscription felt very apparent. The body products have natural ingredients, the incense had natural essential oils and charcoal in them, and even the notebook was made from recycled materials and cotton. I liked getting so many full-size products, too. The box is a little more on the expensive side at about $45.00, but I think you get some quality products for that amount. (The average cost of each item in the box is $6.42, which is pretty good considering the few items I could find retail values for all topped that amount.)
To Wrap Up:
Can you still get this box if you sign up today? No, you will receive the June box. Sign up on or by the 13th to get the next month’s box! All orders processed after the 13th will ship the following month.

Value Breakdown: There were 7 featured items in this $44.95 box. The three items I could find reliable retail values for already have a total value of $46.47. The average value of each item via the subscription is $6.42.
