Now, on to the items!

True Botanicals Nourishing Shampoo - Retail Value $34

First, how lovely is this packaging? It is classing up my bathroom and I love it!

Now, let's talk formula. Sometimes with natural shampoos, they don't always lather (which is fine unless, like me, your brain has been trained for decades to think that shampoo should lather). Good news for me - this one lathers! It smells fab, too. It's a citrus and floral scent that gave me flashbacks to my favorite Gap Body scent in high school! (I think it was the Dream scent.)

True Botanicals Nourishing Conditioner - Retail Value $34

This conditioner scent is described the same way on the True Botanicals site, "bright citrus and subtle floral notes," but to me, the floral scent really stood out more than it did in the shampoo. Both scents are amazing, so I actually like that I get a few different fragrances with this set!

And I'm happy to report that this conditioner didn't weigh down my hair. (Could I tell a big difference between this shampoo + conditioner set vs others? Not really, but they're all-natural and smell wonderful, so the benefit is there!)

True Botanicals Nourishing Body Wash - Retail Value $28

Again, this is supposed to be the same scent as the shampoo and conditioner, but with this one, I smell the citrus much more! In addition to a lovely scent, this body wash also didn't strip my skin of any moisture. (And my husband, Eric is using it too - I think these scents should work for everyone!)

Verdict: This month's Beauty Heroes box has a value of $96. I think that's a good value for the $42.95 cost! And these are luxe beauty products I probably wouldn't buy myself without trying first, (I don't know why, but I have a hard time paying over $10 for shampoo + conditioner), so this was a nice treat!

I appreciate that Beauty Heroes sends top-quality natural and organic brands. This box is about quality over quantity, and I highly recommend it if you are looking for a natural beauty box.

Also, those boxes and bottles are so beautiful, and the whole experience of unboxing these felt truly luxurious and special.

I think the shampoo and conditioner are supposed to be the same scent (“Fresh”), but the body wash is supposed to be a different one (“Grove”). That’s my guess, anyway, based on the bottles and the relative smells.

Will be hunting the swap board for these!

You can still get this box by the way! I just popped over to see if the next box was up for sale yet but nope, this one still is.

Unfortunately it is a 3-month sub.
