Davines OI Shampoo - For All Hair Types - 90 ml Value $9.96

This is a great sized sample (it will be good for at least 3-4 uses), and I appreciate that Birchbox included a matching set:

Davines OI Conditioner - For All Hair Types - 75 ml Value $11.40

This is a thick conditioner (almost like a mask), so I appreciate the tub container! It smells lovely, and left my hair feeling soft and hydrated.

Wander Beauty Baggage Claim Eye Masks (2 packs) Value $8.33

These are one of my favorite items in the box! They are super gentle and soothing, plus they are ingredient-conscious! (Paraben-free, Phthalate-free, Synthetic fragrance-free, and cruelty-free!)

They come in a plastic disc to help keep things as non-messy as possible:

And they are gold! I put them on for 10 minutes, and I was pleasantly surprised by how well they stayed in place. The formula has a faint (natural) lavender scent and is designed to help with hydration and diminishing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

Smashbox Cosmetics Full Exposure Palette - Travel-size Value $25

This mini palette is a little under half the size as the full version, and perfect for travel. (It's about the size of a credit card.)

It features 4 matte and 4 shimmer shades - all very wearable for me, and a good mix for every day and glam looks. The pigment is pretty good with these (probably better for less intense looks), and they were pretty easy to blend, too.

Sigma Beauty E47M – Shader Crease Brush - Travel-size Value $6?

This brush is designed for applying darker shades to your crease.

OUAI Anti-Frizz Hair Sheets - FULL SIZE! Retail Value $18

These are so smart! Instead of having to travel with hair oil, just throw a few of these sheets into your bag.

The sheets are damp enough to transfer product and make hair shinier, but not greasy at all - no need to worry about overdoing it.

And bonus points for the scent! It's not as fragrant as some Ouai products, but it's lovely!

Marvis Toothbrush - Retail Value $6

A simple basic, and always needed for traveling!

To go with the toothbrush, we also get toothpaste:

I've sampled this toothpaste before, and it's good! Plus I'm always happy for fancy packaging - even with toothpaste!

Beauty Protector Protect & Detangle - 1 oz? Value $2.94

(FYI - I'm estimating on the size of this sample. But I'm confident it is at least 1 ounce.)

This is a lightweight leave-in spray that smells so good! It helped detangle my hair and make it softer, too.

ARROW PROTECT Aluminum-Free Deodorant - FULL SIZE! Retail Value $9

This is Birchbox's ingredient-conscious, active beauty line. I liked the scent (citrusy), but this is one of those deodorants that felt like it never fully dried, and it just made me uncomfortable.

Avène Hydrance Light Hydrating Emulsion - FULL SIZE! Retail Value $32

I really like Avene skincare, so I was happy to see this is full-sized! It's a light lotion, absorbs quickly, and has a barely-there scent. Very hydrating!

Erno Laszlo Soothe & Calm Sensitive Cleansing Set - Retail Value $30

I'm used to getting TINY Erno Laszlo soaps in subscription boxes, so this set is a nice upgrade!

And it comes with a plastic tray:

And a bonus serum sample:

This serum had a light citrus scent and absorbed quickly.

This is the first step in the cleansing method. It's an oil you massage onto dry skin. Then dampen skin and follow with the bar soap:

This set is made for sensitive skin, and I can confirm that it felt gentle and didn't dry out my skin. And the sizes of these products are great - this set should last for at least 2 weeks.

(MALIN+GOETZ) bergamot body wash - 1 oz Value $2.75

One of the smaller samples in this box, but the scent more than makes up for it! This smells amazing, and it provides a good lather, too.

Pressed by KIND Fruit Bars in Mango Apple Chia - Value $1.49

These KIND bars are new to me, and I'm a fan! Each one is a combination of just a few fruits + chia seeds.

And we get one other flavor, too:

These bars are only 110 calories, vegan, gluten-free, and they are low-sodium. (0 grams of sodium to be exact!) My husband Eric has been cutting out as much sodium as he can for about a year now, and these bars are a great new discover for him!

(Just a heads up - since these have no added sugar, they are a bit tart.)

Number 4 Super Detangling Comb - Retail Value $8

This is a wide tooth comb that easily combed through my wet hair. Nothing special, but it works!

Birchbox Exclusive Sleep Mask - Estimated Value $10?

This mask is made of the same scuba-like material as the dopp kit, and I love that the elastic band on the back is adjustable.

Birchbox Exclusive Dopp Kit - Estimated Value $25?

I love this print! And the fabric is a scuba-type material, so it is sturdy. Here it is in hand to give you a better sense of scale:

Verdict: This box has a value of about $209! I think that's amazing for a $42 box. There are SO many items in this box, it's great for travel, and I love the exclusive Dopp Kit design and matching sleep mask, too!
