Exotic Noods is a ramen subscription box that delivers noodles from around the world every month! You receive four or eight ramens a month, and you can choose “regular” or “no spicy.” Bonus— this box doesn't have “Exotic Noods” prominently displayed if that is something you don't want others to see 😉
There are three subscription options for this box. You can get the red pack, which will require you to cook your noodles in a pot or separate bowl, the black pack, which comes conveniently packaged and you only need to add hot water, or the green pack, which is both the red and black packs in one box.
This review is of the Red 4 Pack, $15 a month, box.
My Subscription Addiction paid for this box. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes.)

Exotic Noods June 2018 Review
This box included an info sheet with more interesting tidbits about each ramen included.
U-Dong
This was really yummy! The noodles had a great texture and were thicker than your standard ramen (which I loved), and they were so long and curly that I had no options other than to slurp with gusto. The broth was superb with the perfect mix of savory and salty, and there was a slight back note of fish flavor that really complimented the overall bowl. I served this with a few drops of hot sauce and an egg and it was really great.
Kal Guk Su
When I was making this ancient Korean ramen it smelled amazing, however when I actually tasted it the fish flavor was overpowering and unpleasant. The noodles were unique with their shape thanks to the way they are sliced with knives, and they had a good texture. Unfortunately, the broth made it impossible to want to eat more than a few bites.
Miso Ramen
When this was simmering away the smell was not fantastic. The noodles were pleasant, with a great firm-but-chewy texture, and once you ignored the smell the broth was actually quite pleasant. What made this a deal breaker was the sesame seeds—they reminded me of bugs and once I had that in my head I couldn’t unsee it.
Rabboki
This was the winner of the box! The noodles were super chewy, and the broth was amazing. Thanks to the gochujang the broth had a brilliant red color and a sweet heat flavor. The sweetness was unexpected but it was a great balance to the spicy broth.
The Verdict: This was another solid month from Exotic Noods! There was only one spicy ramen in this month’s box, which is a bit different from normal but still fun. Even when some of the ramens aren’t my thing I really enjoy trying ramens from across Asia. I can’t easily find diverse ramen offerings where I am, so I am happy with the price of $3.75 per pack—and each ramen could easily be made into a meal when topped with a cooked egg or some veggies!
To Wrap Up:
Can you get this box if you sign up today? Since the target ship date, each month is the 5th, I believe if you sign up today you will get the August box.
Value Breakdown: This box costs $15 with free shipping and I received four packs of ramen. That breaks down to $3.75 a pack.
