Fresh Little Love Summer 2018 Review
Now, onto the items!
Silkberry Baby Bamboo Tank Bodysuit, Popsicle Stripe - Retail Value $18.99
I love bamboo clothing for myself, my husband has bamboo pajamas, and I'm happy to have a bamboo bodysuit for Jace! Bamboo fabric is so super soft and comfy. I also love the cute, light colors. And it goes perfectly with these shorts!
Silkberry Baby Organic Cotton Cargo Pocket Shorts - Retail Value $16.90
These organic cotton shorts are also soft and they have a nice weight to them. They also fit Jace perfectly!
Halo & Horns Singlet Drop Tail Design - Estimated Value $27
I couldn't find this exact tank but I found it in a different colorway here. This tank is adorable. I don't have any solid black for Jace yet so this is a new, unique item for his wardrobe. It's also a soft, buttery, bamboo blend.
Finn & Emma Tank Romper - Estimated Value $32
Again, I couldn't find this exact item but I found it in a different, cloud pattern here (which I also adore because it's super cute). This is one of my favorite items in the box! It fits Jace impeccably and the fabric is 100% organic cotton. The print is great and gender-neutral, too. It's a one-piece outfit and perfect for Summer.
Tobias & the Bear Just Call Me Fox Vest Romper - Retail Value $26.27 (£20)
Okay guys, how cute is this outfit! The geometric foxes are fantastic. So, so cute! I can tell this bodysuit is a nice quality, too.
Goat Milk Jersey Baby Short, Burnt Orange - Retail Value $24 (found here for $10)
The shorts are well-constructed and they're a good, long length, which hopefully means we will get some good time out of them! I also love that the inseam has snaps for easy diaper changes! I love that because it's such a pain to juggle a wiggling baby, a pulled-up onesie, pulled-down pants, and then, of course, the diaper. It's a really convenient detail.
Kira Kids Let the Good Times Roll Graphic Unisex Tank, Stone Blue - Retail Value $39
What a cute tank top! I really like the color and the phrase is precious on a baby. This tank is lightweight and breathable organic cotton and has a good quality and washed well so far. Jace will get a lot of wear out of this piece this summer for sure.
Verdict: I loved the items we got in our Fresh Little Love box for my 9-month-old! Everything is high quality, fits great, feels great, is made sustainably, and designed well. They definitely source boutique and more pricey clothing items for their boxes, which is something to keep in mind. This isn't made to be a big bargain box - it's made to save you some while introducing you to high quality, eco-friendly, and organic designers and brands.
To Wrap Up:
Can you still get this box if you sign up today? This Summer boys' box is still in stock for certain sizes! Although, their listing does say that "exact items in box vary depending on size and availability," so there's a chance you may receive slightly different items than what I have here. You can see their seasonal shipping schedule here to know what time frame each box ships in.
Value Breakdown: Fresh Little Love says that each box has a value of over $200+. My values for each item comes from the brand websites (granted one is converted from GBP to USD, and I could only find a couple items in different colorways so they may not be exact), and I only totaled $184.16. They say each box offers 20%-40% off retail prices, and my total adds up to 14% off. So, even though I loved the items we received, I have to objectively say that I feel this box falls short of their promised value. However, this box does come with free shipping, and you'd have to pay shipping on each order from the brands directly, and as I said before, there is a chance my pricing is slightly off for a couple based on the different print variations and one price only being found in GBP. Those may allow for a little wiggle room in my total value, but ultimately I think their promised values were higher than what they actually delivered here. I am definitely excited for future shipments, though, and seeing what they have in store!
