The items are great, but look crate has progressively gotten worse. They say the shipments go out between the 15th and the 25th and that has not been the case for the last 3-4 boxes. It really is a shame. And when you reach out to loot crate all they say is it should ship soon. Lately they do not ship until the very end of the month, so I do not receive the shipment until the next month. They should reimburse a percentage of the subscription every time they are late. The shipments are supposed to be every other month, you think they could get it together within that time period.

I have finally given up on this box. For the price it just isn’t worth it. Especially with the delays and low quality items (the door sign, which was literally clap board with a sticker put on it..is now being sold at hot topic for about 5 bucks…..and even the people on there are saying it’s horrible quality). This last box was a big let down. I loved the Niffler bank but for the price of the box it wasn’t worth it. (And honestly the bank could have been a wee bit more detailed). Plus, WHY are they repeating themes? Seriously, back to Hogwarts?! You can’t think of something else at all?! Weasley Wizard Wheezes? Detention time? Face your bogarts? Forbidden Forest? Full Moon Mayhem?! I mean come on. There’s TONS you can do. TONS yet they keep picking the same gosh darn things.
I LOVE Harry Potter but the lack of quality, the lack of timeliness and the no longer totally exclusive items and lack of quantity has hurt this box and forced me to give up on it. I have a feeling loot crate is also going the way of nerd block and I’d like to get out now before it becomes too late like it almost did with nerd block. (The writing is on the wall people! Why do you think literally EVERY crate is shipping late!? Because they can’t pay their bills!)

I LOVE Harry Potter… but JK Rowling should REALLY disassociate her name with this box. Loot Crate has been absurd lately: substituting items, changing terms of the sub, INCORRECTLY billing subscribers…
Even at discounted rates, probably not worth the giant headache that I have right now.
PS. Sorry this post sounds negative. I try to never post to “complain”, rather only to inform and assist others! 🙂

I 100% agree. I have 1 prepaid box left and I am done with Loot Crate. I agree that J K Rowling wouldn’t like the quality and service this company provides under her name.
