Ipsy August 2018 Spoilers Round #3!

The Smash box is a lid primer. If you go to Ipsy page and read the articles they include some of the things coming in bag and that was one and it looks just like the concealer. We are also getting Ofra shadow in gold or Navy. Don’t shoot the messenger

I just became a member because MSA and wasn’t suppose to get a July bag but I did get July I will never complain about a makeup bag full of products for $10 so I am excited to see what next month brings happy with any of it.

My July bag was nothing to brag about. These august spoilers are great! Here’s to hoping August is better for me.
My ideal bag would include one of the concealers , the oribe item, benefit pearl primer , the watermelon moisturizer and a mask.

I paused Ipsy late spring, since I was getting true crap.

I’m going to try the August bag, and if it’s not spectacular, I’m done.

I also redid my profile.

Maybe that’ll help.

I LOVED my July Ipsy bag. I got blush, eyeliner, and eyeshadow and loved all of them. So far I’ve gotten 3 bags from them and ha e loved them all. I hope I continue to get good selection.

my wish list would include, Ciate Glow-To Highlighter,Kat Von D Lock It Concealer, or
Smashbox Studio Skin 24 Hour Waterproof Concealer . none of these have I gotten to try yet and I will not buy full size until I try at least.
I quit Boxycharm not because of palettes but because in the months that I have subbed I have not any Concealer or foundation and that is what I need to find for my go to products haven’t found the perfect 1’s yet.

Really hoping for the Glamour Dolls Sweet Treats Lip Gloss, the Kale and Spinach cream or the Purlisse. Really liking the spoilers for August. Fingers crossed, however, that I do not get the false eyelashes.

I finally got a pretty freaking good bag for July which means the next 5 bags are going to be bad lol. It seems I get 2 good bags a year and the other 10 are just meh.
For July I got:
Smashbox concealer,
it’s a 10 Leave in conditioner (I was STOKED to get this because its pricey and it’s my favorite!),
the Purlisse coffee and coconut oil scrub (loved the smell, hated the oily feeling it left on my skin),
A really pretty blue nail polish from Sundays (45 I think is what it was called?),
Steve Laurant Blush in Rosè All Day.

All in all, a pretty fan-dam-tastic bag! Now the next 5 month’s worth of products they send will all go into my stash for the homeless shelter ❤

I hope I get the MUF eye Pencil and the Purlisse watermelon product. Sounds like a good one for my skin type. There is several Good products. Just wondering what ones we get. I hope no Hey Honey I don’t really care that brand with my skin.

I want that adorable ice pop gloss soooo bad. I’ve edited my preferences as best I can in the hopes of getting it! Really wishing they still had that request one item feature!

I got the smashbox concealer in my June Glambag. IT IS SERIOUSLY WATERPROOF AND SWEATPROOF! You will need makeup remover wipes to get it off. I’m in my 40’s and I normally use IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Undereye concealer. It too is waterproof. I thought the smashbox would work on me but I just don’t like the formula. It is a lightweight formula and sets pretty quickly. It’s full size so I’m sending it off to a great friend of mine who happens to be a firefighter.

August looks interesting. Quite a few things look good. Fingers crossed ipsy’s algorithm doesn’t send me another bag full of stuff for someone else of a different age, hair color and skin color.

I cancelled and now I regret it because the spoilers look SO GOOD. Good thing Allure is looking boring next month anyway…

For the people who got the shade light/medium concealer this month does your beauty profile say light or medium? I wear light/ medium in toofaced powder and cover girl creme foundation so I think I would rather have that color than just light but that option is not in profile . Or does it run dark?

I’m very excited about the August bag! I wish I could try almost everything.

Love the wine pigmented shadows, hair styling product, liquid lip, all use pencil and either the mask or YTTP cream.

What color category does the Huda trophy wife fall under?

I am super excited to see what I get this is my first Ipsy .It is mainly for my 17yr old but I want to try new products also for finding my go to products.All the bags seem a win for me.

I’ve been doing Ipsy for a few years now and a few times I’ve been so disappointed with the products that I’ve cancelled. But guys, the July bag I got completely redeemed itself, though!

I got a FULL SIZE smashbox concealer (which I think is around $25!). I feel like they only send full size on lesser known or cheaper brands.

Maybe it’s a fluke but I really hope not!

I think the packaging on the glamour dolls gloss is really cute. I like the Youth to the People moisturizer a lot, too, and would be happy to see it in my bag.

Is it too much to ask for one quality mascara? After subbing for several months (and having mascara as my only item marked) I still have not received a single mascara. 18 primers and 47 black eye liners (okay maybe an exaggeration but I swear those things are breeding in my makeup drawer!)
