Loot Crate DX is Loot Crate's deluxe crate. They pitch it as an "elevated assortment of collectibles, apparel, home goods and more from your favorite pop culture franchises every month." They also promise no crossover items from the Core Loot Crate box.
This month's theme was "Colossal"!

June 2018 Loot Crate DX Colossal Review
The June 2018 Loot Crate DX "Colossal" box featured Jurassic Park, Ghostbusters, Kong/Planet of the Apes, Gundam, and Thanos.
It comes with a fold-out information card that details the items in your box.
Jurassic World Raptor Pin - Value $10?
The pins in the DX box are bigger than the core crate - which makes sense for a deluxe box - so I value them a bit higher. This month's pin features one of the best onscreen dinos - the Velociraptor.
Ghostbusters Stay Puft Long Sleeve Shirt - Value $20?
My biggest gripe with DX lately is too many long sleeve shirts - and it's a bit more of a nuisance since it's 90 degrees outside!
It's basically the same thickness as a normal t-shirt and features a number of Ghostbusters easter eggs in the graphic.
Since this box is sent for review, they haven't updated my size yet - so this is what the 2XL looks like on me!
T-Rex Socks - Value $12?
The other Jurassic Park item, outside of the pin, is a pair of T-Rex socks.
Look at those little stubby arms on the bottom!
As much as I liked these - I had to gift them to my sister who is all about T-Rex stuff - to the point where she named her dog Rex. These were great additions this month!
2 Gundam Figures - Value $5 each
Everyone gets two Universal Unit figures featuring two randomly selected Gundam figures - I got Alex and Gundam Barbatos.
Each model has two different versions that you can build out.
They arrive like a model kit. It took a minute to get the hang of the instructions - but once you do, it'll only take a few minutes to build.
I built out version A of the Alex Gundam figure.
Once built, they stand about 3.25 inches tall and are highly articulate.
Kong on the Planet of the Apes Trade Paperback - Value $20?
Everyone gets an exclusive Loot Crate variant cover of Kong on the Planet of the Apes volume.
Fans of both franchises will enjoy this story!
Thanos Art Print - Value $15?
The final item in the box is a 24x12 Thanos print from Dave Perillo.
I love his artistic style - I think this is the third or fourth print I've received from him. My only gripe is that the paper is pretty thin and seems to crease pretty easily.
Verdict: I like when the DX box has at least one item that really wows me because it's a deluxe box - there doesn't seem to be that in this month's box. Overall, I like the socks, pin, and shirt design - but it wasn't enough for me to really love this month of Loot Crate DX.
