June 2018 'Grub' Loot Gaming Review

The Grub theme featured items from Castlevania, Skyrim, Halo, and Bioshock.

You'll get a large fold-out information sheet.

One side features a 28x22 poster - this month features a Skyrim poster.

The reverse side will walk you through the items in the crate.

Chicken Dinner Pin - Value $5?

This month was all about gaming food - and this chicken dinner surely looks like it'll restore full health.

Castlevania Wall Chicken Shirt - Value $15?

This shirt references the in-wall chicken you can find in Castlevania:

It gives a new spin on the term "mystery meat"!

Skyrim Apron - Value $15-20?

One of the bigger items of the box is a Skyrim themed apron.

The graphic is pretty great - but I'd say the quality is a little on the thin side for an apron - but it'll get the job done.

I had to try this one on! That's a great apron option.

Halo Cookie Cutters - Value $5-10?

Halo Legendary Crate subscribers will know these because we received the white version of these back in December of 2017. While I know most people don't subscribe to a bunch of different lines, it always bothers me to see a repeat item from another line. Maybe that's the just me.

You'll get 4 different Halo designs for future cookies.

Bioshock Infinite Socks - Value $12?

The final item in the box is a pair of sublimated print Bioschok socks. The socks feature in0game powerups printed all the way around the calf-area of the socks.

Verdict: The grub theme was bound to bring us more practical/cooking items - and I think the best items fell into that category. Again, I wasn't really blown away by the selections this month, but I do think that Skyrim apron is the real winner this month.

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? No - they're currently taking orders for the July 2018 box. You'll have until the 27th of each month to get that month's theme!

Not to be weird or anything, but you look great! Have you been trying to lose weight? If so, you must share your secrets to success!!

Thanks! Yep, I’ve been at it for almost a year now. Food-wise, I cut out as much sugar and sodium as I can every day and do a 30 minute full-incline, or 60 minute walk 6 days a week. Of course, I give myself a cheat day every month or so, too!
