July 2018 Mini Monthly Box Of Awesome For Dogs Review

Our July delivery featured three products - two treats and a crinkly toy!

As per usual, Buckles is ready to investigate the source of treat smells!

Bow Wow Pet - Crinkle Monkeys - Value $8-10?

I can't find this exact toy for sale online - so I'm going for a ballpark value. It has squeakers and a ton of crinkle paper inside.

He loved this toy! He looks like a little lion in this picture, too.

Vegalicious Healthy Treat Bars - Value $4-5

The first treat is perfect for training. This is a peanut butter flavored treat that you can break up to your liking. It's all natural and free from gluten, wheat soy, and corn.

This was another winner. He immediately asked for another bite once I started this review.

Puppy Scoops - Maple Bacon - Value $8

The final item is something we've received before in Pet Treat and Mini Monthly Mystery Box for Dogs. This is like an ice cream treat for your pup - and water, stir it, and freeze it - that's it! We let Buckles try one of these last year - he was off and on when offered the chance to have a bit - but you can leave this in the freezer and portion control how much you give out and make it last quite a while.

Verdict: We didn't have any canisters get crushed or have the bottom fall out of anything - so it was instantly better than last month. From the toys to the treats, Buckles really enjoys everything in here - so it was a definite win for the July box.

To Wrap Up:

We loved the monkey, in fact when I woke up this morning Bam Bam had it under the covers with him so it is a very important baby. He was thrilled with the ice cream at first but then not so much. Nice that I can keep it in the freezer and try it again. The treats were great and I will have to repurchase those.

Not a very well made monkey, sadly. Mine has no arms or legs and it didn’t put up much of a fight.

We got the same stuff in the large dog version this month. I agree it was much better than lasts…even though my formerly reformed “super chewer” dog turned back to his old ways and immediately chewed the face off that poor adorable monkey to get the squeaker out. Now he’s been dragging around a faceless monkey for a week. Lol. Why do they always put the squeakers in places that give me the most trauma when having to look at the “carcasses??”

Lmao! I loved your reply! There is an Animal Planet version sold at Big Lots for $5. It’s a lot sturdier.
