Coleman Jug, 0.3 Gallon - Retail Value $5.99

This small red jug will be handy for keeping cold water nearby when I'm out and about at the pool or a kickball game. According to some printing on the base of the jug, it is only intended for cold liquids, not hot. I like that the mouth of the jug is wide (though there is also a smaller spout on the top) so that I can add plenty of ice. I do wish that this worked for wintry things like soups and cocoa, too!

Star Wars Darth Vader Tin Wind-Up Toy - Retail Value $19.21

A smaller version of this kind of tin toy appeared in the latest Mini Monthly Mystery Box by Jamminbutter I reviewed. This one stands a bit higher at almost 8", and it's Darth Vader rather than Boba Fett. It's a cute, retro collectible that I'll probably keep and give as a gift to a Star Wars fan friend.

Mainstays Half-Size Collapsible Storage Bins, Set of 2 - Retail Value $7.99

I think (though I may be wrong) that Mainstays is a Walmart brand? I've found every item in this box on Walmart's site, so far (though this one was listed as no longer available—hence the Amazon link). I do find these kinds of fabric drawer organizers handy. No more socks mixed in with undies mixed in with bras! It's also nice that each bin comes with a little separator that you can use to split it in half!

To-Go Tea Infuser Tumbler

I can't find any brand/messaging info on this tumbler, which comfortably holds about 12 oz. of tea. I love that there's a basket built right in, so I can brew on the go! I can also see putting some loose leaf inside this hefty tumbler and setting it in the fridge overnight to make a really rich deep tea.

Star Wars Reusable Shopping Bag

I couldn't find this specific design online. I am definitely happy to add it to my reusable shopping bag collection. The coolest thing about this bag is that it has a velcro-sealed flap, almost like a messenger bag, so I could presumably pop it in a bicycle basket without worrying that things would topple out the top. I love the new Star Wars movies, but I'm glad to see this retro poster design getting some time in the spotlight!

The Verdict: I noticed that this month's box seemed heavy on products that you could also find at Walmart—I wonder if they have some kind of deal with them... Everything was decent, quality-wise, and relatively handy, too. I do feel like two Star Wars items is a lot for one box, so I hope in future ones they shake that up a bit!

This box cost $24.99 (with free shipping). The items in the box that I could find online have a total retail value of $33.19!

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? There's no telling which random items you'll get inside this box, even if you sign up today. Subscribe now to get your own box of surprises!

Value Breakdown: This box costs $24.99 + free shipping, which means that each of the 5 items in the box has an average cost of $5.00.

Yes, Mainstays is Wal-mart’s store brand name. If you ever get Room Essentials, that’s Target’s store brand.

BONNY ADAMS

Shortly after I received this box, I had to get a new bank card, and I opted not to log on and update my card. I had received 3 monthly boxes, with this one being the last. I subbed to this box when it first came out, but the three I received didn’t really do it do me. Like you said, a lot of Wal-Mart items.

I really like the tea tumbler and the Star Wars shopping bag!

Walmart’s site is a marketplace like Amazon’s now, so there are going to be a lot of closeouts from their 3rd party sellers, which is probably why you found so many of the items there.
