Orglamix is a vegan and cruelty-free beauty subscription containing loose shadows, glitter pigments, aromatherapy roll-ons, and more. Many of the items in the subscription will be unique to the subscription and not available in the Orglamix shop (although they will have the same great formula). In addition to the $34.95 a month Beauty Box, Orglamix also offers an Eyeshow Edit box for $21.95 a month.
This is a review of the Orglamix Beauty Box.
They are now doing custom box prints every month and they’re quite pretty.
This box was sent to us at no cost for review. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes.)

Orglamix July 2018 “Fruity Beauty” Review
This month’s theme is “Fruity Beauty.” That is reflected in the item names but also in some of the ingredients and scents.
The box came with an information card detailing the items and theme for June. It also lists ingredients, which is nice since these items aren’t typically available in their online shop.
I should mention, when I received this box, one of the items was missing. Orglamix responded nearly immediately when contacted about this and it was just a few days before I had the replacement item in hand.
Papaya Glow Natural Eyeshadow – Listed Value $9
You’ll always get at least one loose mineral pigment (sometimes 2-3 of them) with an Orglamix subscription. I tend to stick to neutrals and light colors for eyeshadow so this color actually works really well for me. I find these shadows to blend well and to stick to the eyelid well (i.e., little/no fallout) if an appropriate primer is used. The value listed on the information card is a bit lower than the other shadows in the Orglamix shop, so I’m thinking a smaller amount was provided. But honestly, that’s OK, because I am never going to finish off a full-size eyeshadow.
Banana Glaze Natural Eyeshadow – Listed Value $9
Here is the second eyeshadow for the month. I don’t wear a lot of yellow, but this is light enough that I can make it work. It has the same great formula as the shadow pictured above and all the same properties and is also the slightly lower price. (For what it’s worth, the colors you receive with this subscription are exclusive to the subscription and can’t be bought from the Orglamix shop.)
Summer Night Soaking Tea Salts – Listed Value $15
I really like bath salts with flower pieces in them, but don’t like cleaning up the bathtub later. What’s nice about this is, they provide a tea bag to use with the salts. The salts dissolve and the essential oils are released, but cleanup is simplified. I’m getting multiple uses out of this product by using it in a foot bath (smaller quantities used each time) since my plantar fasciitis is acting up and the salts and warm water just feel really good right now (and now my feet smell good, too!).
Coconut Eyeshadow Primer Serum – Listed Value $12.50
This didn’t have a strong coconut scent (to me). I have very oily eyelids but I was pleased to find that this dried on them in a short time. So far my eyeshadow is still in place and my eyeliner hasn’t migrated halfway up my eyelid, which is great. This is also supposed to work under concealer, but I don’t get dark circles so I don’t use under-eye concealer.
Superfruit Under Eye Serum – Listed Value $32
This came at a good time for me. I had just finished up an eye cream and, having quit most beauty boxes and destashed a bit (OK, a lot), I didn’t have a good backup. I was a little apprehensive about this being an oil, but unlike the last oil-based eye serum I tried, this absorbed into my skin pretty well (the key seemed to be to use just a very small amount). This is super moisturizing and has a lot of antioxidants, which I love to see in skincare, and the product size is quite generous so I should get a lot of use out of it.
Citrus Rhapsody Perfume Oil – Listed Value $19
I went into this expecting something purely citrus, because I neglected to read the information card before using, and I was pleasantly surprised to find a more complex blend. Of course, there are notes like grapefruit and lime, but I am really liking the additions of cedarwood and basil to the overall scent profile; those make this something I am much more likely to reach for fairly often. It’s nice to see a full-sized perfume oil in this box since they haven’t sent one for awhile, either.
Here are swatches of the eyeshadows.
Verdict: I calculated a value of $96.50 for the July Orglamix subscription box. The items this month were all exclusive for this box, so I had to rely a lot on the information card, but I think the values were relatively close to those of similar items in the shop. This box was a little lighter on skincare than previous months, but they do tend to mix it up a bit, and I thought the overall mix of items was both fun and useful (as well as keeping with the fruity theme).
To Wrap Up:
Can you still get this box if you sign up today? No, this was July's box and they say they ship around the 10th (in practice, it may be a week or two after that before the box actually ships), so you’d probably get the August box as your first one.
