There is an unboxing video on YouTube and there is no colored eye brow products!! No brow product at all actually unless you use the lash serum on brow. There is travel size Ricky’s Care make up wipes, LA splash liquid lip in death dealer, LA splash vanishing potion make up remover, Glamazon highlight cream, and the lash serum . I am staying paused

I called, and in the voicemail I left I told them I wanted to cancel and gave my email address. A few hours later I got email confirmation that my account had been cancelled per my request. Never got a call back but they took care of it. Hope this helps.

I had high hopes for this box, they have neat stuff, so I could n’t wait to get my box. Then they billed me twice, and sent me 2 of the same box, and I was not impressed, rosewater, masks, I must have 50 masks from my BB’s and I expected better. I’ll try a few more months more, if things don’t improve, I too, will go to Allure.

I signed up the other day. I’ve stalked these spoilers for about a year now. They’ve been from “eh” to “wow” for me but I’m very disappointed to have missed that palette. I canceled Boxy after some disenchantment, so I’m hoping for more of what I’m looking for in this box.

I haven’t made a decision on the lash serum yet, and I’m hoping to not receive the orange brow color, and not a nude lippie. I reeeeeeeeeaally want the deep violet or teal/blue/plum lipstick. Any of their bolder colors would be worn with a smile. Or a smirk. 😉 However it plays out, I’ll give them a chance to impress me.

KimberlyB, if I receive an orange brow color I will swap you for another item.

I said I’d give this sub 2 months at the raised price to wow me into staying. June was a bummer, so far not thrilled with July either.
I just got the Allure box & loved June & very happy with the spoilers for July so more than likely this is my farewell month to Cult Crushes

I did the same thing. I canceled this month and subbed to Macy’s instead. I did not receive anything from Ricky’s that made me want to continue with them. I kept seeing the reviews for Macy’s, and I was always bummed that I wasn’t getting their box. I already have Allure so I was looking for something to replace Cult Crushes. BTW-if anyone does not sub to Allure yet, it is a great box. I have loved almost everything, and the price is fantastic. I would definitely recommend Allure if you are looking for a box under $20. 😊

If I’m not happy with this month’s box, overall….I might try Allure. This is the make or break month for Rickys. (for me and many others, from the looks of it) So far, it’s better than last month, at least.

Has anyone tried that lash thing? Does it really make your lashes thicker/longer? I’ve been wanting to try something like that!

mimi

Looks good so far! I hope the lippie isn’t neutral, though.

To anyone interested in Ricky’s Cult Crushes need to understand they are sent out EXPIRED masks this last month, after they raised their prices to $14 per month.

And by expired I do not mean by a couple of months, we are talking YEARS! My 2 masks are dated expired by 2004 and 2009…so it would seem they are not beyond sending out whatever is left in their OLD stash.
I canceled.

lmhilly

the masks were not expired…it is explained in their facts on their page…..the masks say
EXP200410 = 04/10/2020

JessicaG

The masks were not expired! I addressed this complaint in the last posts comments. The masks, nor the company for that matter, even existed that long ago. The expiry date stamp is written in the YY/MM/DD form. Example: one of mine reads EXP200928, which means EXP20/09/28, meaning it expires Sept. 28th, 2020. How do I know this for a fact? My other one reads EXP191116 and I KNOW it wasn’t made in 1911. Plus, they are made in Taiwan.
Research a little more before making such a detrimental statement.

If they send out various shades of the lippie and the brow color, I would love to collect them all via swap with folks who don’t like them. I’ll be chasing these babies hard!

Reply ButtonReply

Sandy

I’ll most likely be putting mine on swap site. I’m not into lip gloss. Brow may be going also depending what it actually is.

Reply ButtonReply

Jso

If I get any dark colors of the lippies I will have them listed. I’m only interested in the first 3. And depending on the brow that will probably be up too.

Super bummed. For months before I joined it seemed like these boxes were amazing…palettes, full sized products. I joined in May and Ricky’s promptly raised its prices and lowered its quality. I won’t be with them much longer if this keeps up.

Reply ButtonReply

Rosette

They said the palettes won’t be returning for a while & I’m gonna take that as “They won’t be returning forever thanks to the disaster in April that we’ll be blaming on you, not us.”

Reply ButtonReply

Lisa

I don’t think not sending palettes is due to what happened in April. Cult Crushes has been around for few years and until few months ago they never sent palettes. I really think they did it to attract more customers then once they had more customers than they could handle they stopped. It was greed same as raising price. Nobody raises their price because they have too many customers!!

Jeri

Wow so they tease everyone with the $11 a month and send full size palettes, so much to the point where they sell out…then they raise the price to $14 a month, but no more palettes…gotta say that’s so messed up, and they really geniusly did that to make more money

Rosette

Finally interested in Cult Crushes again!
