SinglesSwag July 2018 Review

Each box comes with an information card listing the items included in the box as well as an encouraging monthly quote.

Pūrlisse Watermelon Energizing Sheet Mask Set

Pūrlisse Watermelon Energizing Sheet Mask Set – Listed Value $38.00

This sheet mask set launches July 11th, so it's refreshing to receive a product that’s new and to try it before the general public. I have used Pūrlisse products before and love how gentle it’s on my skin and cleanses and removes my makeup in one swipe. Their sheet masks are sturdy, made with natural fibers, and it doesn’t slip as I’m wearing the mask. I received six sheet masks infused with watermelon, aloe vera, cucumber and restorative Asian botanicals. The botanicals intend to deliver antioxidants and minerals to my skin, watermelon locks in moisture, aloe vera reduces inflammation, and cucumber soothes my skin. It’s recommended to use 1-2 times as a part of my beauty ritual, as well they are quick and easy to use and give my skin the moisture and hydration it needs. Also, another benefit, the essence from the sheet mask deeply concentrates into my skin for that refreshed look.

Jules Kae Credit Card Pouch – Listed Value $30.00

This black credit card pouch held my cards; I won’t be able to fit all my cards, but the important ones will be able to fit. I was unable to find this product on their website, and the price is from the info card.

Kensie Super Low Liner 3 Pack – Retail Value $22.00 (found here for $13.00)

I wear liner socks, so I was happy to receive more. I don’t usually buy the “super” low liner socks, but I will adjust. The liner socks fit snuggly, but I was able to loosen them up upon wearing. A nice change to have these type of socks as opposed to crew socks.

Pirouline Cream Filled Wafers-Dark Chocolate –

Pirouline Cream Filled Wafers-Dark Chocolate – Listed Value $4.00 (buy a 3.25oz tin for $18.00)

These crunchy, sweet dark chocolate wafers were a hit. I have seen these in subscription boxes before, and they're crunchy rolled wafers with a dark chocolate crème filling making for a sweet snack or yummy dessert.

Kevia Style Druzy Bangle Bracelets – Listed Value $82.00

These bangle bracelets are gorgeous, and they fit over my wrist, I did struggle a bit getting the gold wired bracelets on my wrist, I was afraid I would stretch out the wire bracelets, but I didn’t. I received two gold wire bracelets with a small pale shaded druzy gemstones in a velvet pouch. I also received a coupon code for 20% off.

Trifle Cosmetics Magic Frosting - Liquid Gleam 0.27 oz.

Trifle Cosmetics Magic Frosting - Liquid Gleam 0.27 oz. – Retail Value $34.00

This shimmering liquid gleam gave me a shimmery glow, but the dropper in the bottle didn’t work. I’m not a fan of these types of makeup products, and I don’t like the results, plus I tend to add too much of the product on my face. I have yet to master how to use these types of illuminators. I found it odd that the bottle has 0.27 ounces and the website has 0.30 ounces.

From Trifle Cosmetics:

Magic Frosting - Liquid Gleam

Create a mouth-watering, color-treated iridescence by mixing only a few droplets of this delicious liquid gleam with your favorite cream or moisturizer. Adjust color and glow intensity by adding more drops to your recipe while cooking up your dessert-worthy look. Use it on its own for a touch of highlighting shimmer. The formula is sweetened with ripe Blueberry and Plum Extracts to help keep your skin firm and supple throughout the day.

  • Vegan
  • No Mineral Oil
  • No Parabens
  • No Phthalates
  • No Gluten
  • Hypoallergenic
  • Non-comedogenic

Usage: Spread the mixture or the drops alone onto apples of cheeks, bridge of the nose and your cupid’s bow. Adjust intensity from a moderate glow (1-2 drops) to a rich, tinted glamour (3 or more drops).

Doucce Fierce & Fine Graphic Pen EyelinerFull Size! - Retail Value $21.00

We have two makeup items this month, and both are a miss for me, plus this brand is popular in subscription boxes. Unfortunately, this won't get used, but I'm positive the makeup lovers will love this.

From Doucce:

A deeply pigmented waterproof graphic pen that is both easy to use and creates precise, sharp lines. The formula glides on seamlessly without the hassle of tugging or pulling. Create various elegant eye looks whether it be a timeless cat-eye or a thin sublime line for definition. The formula will not smear, flake, nor budge.

VerdictThe July SinglesSwag gave me an assortment of goodies ranging from a yummy sweet treat to beauty products to accessories making for a well-rounded box. My favorite items are the sock liners, sheet mask set, bangle bracelets, and the chocolate wafers. This box delivers on sending at least seven items monthly, and the value is over $100. SinglesSwag gives out monthly spoilers on their boxes, so be sure to sign-up for notifications! This month’s box has a value of $231.00, that’s amazing!

Could you use the liner to draw tattoos on a little one? I’m truly wondering. Those bracelets are gorgeous!

The bracelets are so nice, I was worried about getting them on as well but they slipped on and off without too much trouble.
I use a very similar product. Coverfx enhancer drops, mixed with my foundation almost every day. It gives my base a much more natural, dewy finish and means I don’t use much foundation. I get a lot of comments about how perfect my skin is, and without makeup my skin is very much not perfect.

I think the color in this box, used judiciously, could work to warm and shimmer up foundation for your skin tone as well, Nichelle. I’m very pale so obviously I have very different makeup products and priorities! But this is a nice neutral pink which blends well.

It’s a very expensive product though! Costs almost as much as the coverfx which are better quality and almost twice as big!

At first glance this looked so overpriced but reading your great review and the pictures I see where it is definitely a great box.

Arghh same! And they’re so pretty. May have to stack them with some smaller ones to hold them on 🙂
