Vinyl Me, Please just released spoilers for their August 2018 shipments!
There are three options for Vinyl Me, Please - VMP Essentials, VMP Classics and VMP Rap & Hip Hop.
FYI - You can switch between Essentials, Classics, and Rap & Hip Hop:
You're on VMP Essentials and you're not feeling Be the Cowboy. You can switch to VMP Classics or VMP Rap & Hip Hop if you want. Just go to the Member Portal and make your decision before 11:59 p.m. ET on July 31!
VMP Essentials includes the VMP-Exclusive Mitski, Be the Cowboyt!
Mitski’s discography is a series of scrambled sonic cinematic reels spliced together by one of the most talented lyricists of our generation. Her fifth album, Be The Cowboy, is a new era for Mitski, carrying with it the same impossibly ripped-open emotional nudity that Mitski’s built her legacy upon over the past six years. It's out on exclusive red vinyl via Vinyl Me, Please.
Exclusive VMP-edition features:
VMP Classics includes the VMP-Exclusive James Booker, The Lost Paramount Tapes!
James Booker was an amazing New Orleans piano player, a player who pushed the boundaries of New Orleans jazz, soul, and blues. The Lost Paramount Tapes, a "lost" album that sat on shelves in L.A. since the night some 40-odd years ago when Booker and his band sauntered into a studio and recorded an entire album, is out on vinyl for the first time via Vinyl Me, Please Classics.
Exclusive VMP-edition features:
VMP Rap & Hip Hop includes the VMP-Exclusive Queen Latifah, All Hail the Queen!
All Hail the Queen is Queen Latifah's debut album, and is an hour of nonstop anthems rooted in positivity and applying the pressure to any MC who dares to test. Latifah is woman, is MC, and lifts the former up to the latter when folks cast an impossibility or unworthiness to someone of her caliber. It's being reissued for the first time ever on splatter vinyl via Vinyl Me, Please Rap & Hip Hop.
