August 2018 Brick Loot Review
The Space Battle Brick Loot was packed with small builds!
Each delivery arrives with a card that details each item in your box.
Micro Classic Space Base - Value $15?
The first build for the Space Battle box is from Chris Maddison and is built with 100% LEGO pieces.
It's a 55 piece build and is relatively straight-forward.
Follow the 11 step instructions and...
You'll have your little Space Base to defend against the incoming Starfighter Fleet!
Starfighter Fleet - Value $30?
You'll get 6 little spaceship builds to create your own little fleet.
These are all quick builds - about 5 minutes a piece.
I popped a few of them together. The instructions were easy to follow and took about 5 minutes a piece. I will say, some of these pieces didn't click together well and kept falling apart - that was disappointing.
Astronaut Academy Cadet Minifigure - Value $10?
Every month comes with a Minifigure - what's a space theme without an astronaut?
Her figure has some great detail - the little oxygen tank, the zipper, the radio - and a workable visor!
Doctor Who Micro-Figures in Display Brix - Value $5-10?
Every subscriber received a blind box figure from Doctor Who!
You'll have a tiny bit to construct with your figure.
There are 16 characters to collect from this series. Take the figures and put them on display...
You can pop these in and stack them up!
Verdict: I love when the box is mostly brick builds - so getting 6 little spaceship builds was awesome. It wasn't as great that some pieces didn't really click together and hold, though. Overall, I thought this was one of the better boxes from Brick Loot.
To Wrap Up:
Can you still get this box if you sign up today? No. You’ll find the currently available theme in their top banner of the website.
