Did people have to pay for two months for this??? I am furious and I don’t even subscribe! I signed up for the Best of Beauty box (May Subscription?) and it came in mid June. Then the July box came to my house but there is no invoice for it online and they didn’t bill me for it. This box is a disaster. It’s a shame because Cosmo used to be such a cultural icon and this box could have brought it back up, but it’s just turned it into more of a joke.

I am curious about that two. The way I understood it people paid for July and August and are basically only receiving one box. The box should have been at least $120 value ($60 each month). I was hoping if they were charged for July they weren’t charged for August and vise versa.

We were not charged for both months. In the email they sent to subscribers they told us if we already paid in July we would not be charged in August.

I don’t think she necessarily needs to distance herself from this box, but needs to be very honest and real about her opinions of this box. I know they are stuck in a difficult area where if they are too harsh they could drive away sub boxes (free for review boxes) and if they aren’t they could drive away subscribers. If I was her I would steer clear of offering MSA discount codes though, lol. Lets wait and see how she reviews this box.
If it weren’t for these reviews people wouldn’t know how well a sub box functions. With this particular box they don’t allow negative reviews on their site. I wrote a not so nice review and it was never posted. Shadyness. I found it weird that with how opinionated people are with this box they have no reviews on their site. No way

Cosmo should be ashamed of themselves. This is a slap in the face for their subscribers, it is definitely not a box worth $36. I am so glad I did not sub to this, and I’m livid for their subscribers.

Is there a way to make sure that the spoilers and reviews have the boxes listed the same. The reviews are under Cosmo box but spoilers etc are under Cosmobox.

They say each box should be over a $60 value, which means this should be at least $120.
This falls well short of $120. If you got the box, you have really good reason to dispute it.

I got lucky and cancelled in July. I still ended up with this box though because I paid in July. I feel ripped off and I only paid half of what some people paid. There’s no way they should be able to count this as two boxes. It just barely contains as much as one of their previous single month boxes. This is ridiculous.

Oh hell no! They did not even do that to their customers. I would be so peeved. I would be blowing up all their social medias with complaints and bad reviews. Oh and that negative review I wrote on their site last week never showed up. Definitely a shady company. They can kiss whatever customers they had left goodbye. Oh my goodness.

This is probably the worst box I have seen. How are people still subscribed?! I thought since they missed June, they wouldn’t charge for it. So technically this is a $66 box?? This just baffles my mind!!! How are they still in business!!???!! I wouldn’t pay $10 for this, I wouldn’t even want this sent to me for FREE!! 110% serious!! I can’t get over this lol

If I’m correct people weren’t charged for this joke as two boxes but they were still led to believe that because of the crazy delay that they would be receiving two boxes worth for the trouble… so didn’t steal your money but sure as heck weren’t up front or honest.
If I’m wrong and you paid for a july box and an August box then take some screenshots and do a chargeback. You didn’t get what was advertised.

I subscribed in May so had to get June because of how their subscription is setup, June shipped late and actually I think this box as a single box wouldn’t be as bad as June but for two months this is 💩.

And I was able to cancel with no issue via CS email and only got the May box that I had wanted.

CS was horrible with me. Even though I’d cancelled and got a cancellation email May 31st, they still charged June (but no invoice notice on website) so I found out about it when they mailed the box. I went back and forth with them and they just insisted that I wasn’t ‘allowed’ to cancel (under their interpretation of the FAQ which would make it impossible for anyone to ever cancel if a box mailed late and didn’t ship in it’s own month.) Finally I contested through Paypal. Cosmobox never even bothered to try and contest that, so Paypal refunded when Cosmo’s time to respond expired based on the screenshot of my cancellation confirmation I had sent.

I sent their customer service several emails that went unanswered for weeks. It’s nice that they answer some emails though.
They did answer when I emailed about the June box shipping delay, I had canceled by then. June box didn’t arrive until the second week of July.

People should at least be refunded for Julys box, come on. How is this subscription box still afloat? Thank goodness I don’t subscribe. Someone made an excellent point about it being more than FFF, for 2 months, that’s crazy!

[jaw drops] wow, just wow. That’s more expensive than fabfitfun for garnier, a paperback, cheap sunglasses, lotion, and sunblock. This is stuff you’d buy at a drugstore while headed to the beach and in no world would it be $60.
