Verdict: I'm a fan of Emma & Chloe pieces, and this is another winner for me. I really love the snake bracelet design, and it's so easy to shape on my wrist. In general, I'd recommend this subscription if you love delicate jewelry (with a few bold but minimalist pieces). And I love that Emma & Chloe lets you choose your metal color preference and if you want pierced or clip earrings.

Looks like a cross between a sperm and the head of the Male genital. No way would I wear that. What were they thinking?!

Warning about their CS – I was diagnosed with a metal allergy and changed my preferences in my account AND discussed it with CS.

They continued sending the metal I’m allergic to, even after I brought it up in an email about another matter.

My subscription should end with this box, and I’m thrilled that it is finished. There were two pieces I really wanted that came out after I changed preferences, but I had to give them away because of the lack of consideration or attention.

I don’t sub to this box, but I love the bracelet. I think it’s asinine that someone would throw it in the garbage, talk about dramatic. Like seriously, lol. Donate it to a women’s shelter, I’m sure there’s a woman out there who doesn’t have the luxury of owning nice things that would love it.

I like it. It has clear influences from 1st century AD Roman jewelry.

Diane

Well, I didn’t want to say it but you are right–it looks like a sperm! I offered it to my 4 sisters, 3 nieces and 2 neighbor teens and no one wanted it. It went into the trash.

Kathy

Please don’t just throw things you don’t like from sub boxes away when it could be donated to someone else. Even giving it to Goodwill is better than putting it in the trash
Also, when I saw this piece I thought it was a snake and didn’t even think about a sperm until you said it

Karen

Yea right! I doubt you threw it away.

This is why we decided to offer it to our subscribers this month 🙂 We always try to offer unique, stylish and elegant pieces and we try to please everyone’s tastes. We’re sorry it was not of your taste this time. We are running a special Labor Day sale and everything on the e-shop is 30% off this week if you would like to get something else 🙂

Hi Elodie I tried to use my glossybox coupon code but the coupjn isn’t valid!!!! Hope you can helpme!

Diane

If you check ,y order history, you will see that i purchase many pieces from your sit. I am a very good customer. Unfortunately , the last 4 boxes have not been a good fit at all! I will continue to purchase individual pieces–ones that i love, but I don’t think your subscription box is no longer for me. Thank you however.

Eve

I hear ya. Could also try donating it to Goodwill or something too.

When does this usually ship? I placed my order more than 2 weeks ago along with other items and haven’t heard a peep from them.

Reply ButtonReply

Elodie

Hi Sara,
It should be shipping anytime now! Don’t hesitate to reach out to us at [email protected] with your order number and we will check on the status for you 🙂

Hi Sara, they are shipping from Paris. They will ship soon. Sometimes their on their way and you’ll get a shipping notification after they ship. And then the next day their delivered. If you want to be sure, e-mail elodie. She’s very sweet and will let you know exactly where your package is.

Mine ships from Chicago.

That said, i get a message mid month that lets me know they are preparing my order. If that means it is coming from France – maybe? About 10 days later I will get another email that says they are shipping and I will get a tracking number – usually DHL. At that point if I go to the website my order switches from UNFULFILLED to FULFILLED.

Reese

When does this box ship? I ordered the box along with a few individual pieces on the 14th and my status is set as paid but unfulfilled. I didn’t realize my other pieces weren’t going to come until this box does?

Elodie

Hi Reese,

Your box should be shipped anytime now 🙂 Don’t hesitate to contact us at [email protected] with your order number and we can check on the status for you!

I contacted customer service on Sept. 7, was told I would be getting my package this week after I asked to cancel (a statement that was ignored), emailed AGAIN, then finally filed a PayPal dispute. One in which I also specifically asked to cancel and receive a refund. A few hours later, I get a shipment notification email and…oh, no response from customer service. Here’s to hoping this one-time purchase was worth it, I guess. It really doesn’t matter what the jewelry is like now that I know the customer service is this bad.

Jen

Hi all,

I see that many of you have indicated that you have this bracelet up for swap, but when I looked, I could not find any available. Am I missing something?

My husband thought this was a lizard which delighted me. I love this piece. 🦎🐍

I like their packaging, curation and presentation. I only wish the quality of the jewelry justified their stated value, but the pieces I got from them were awfully cheap and tarnished immediately. I couldn’t even get a season’s wear out of them, and would be cautious about giving them as gifts.

Elodie

Hi there,
All of our pieces are delicately gold plated or silver coated on brass and are made in compliance with quality requirements. If you feel like your bracelet has a quality issue feel free to email us a picture at [email protected] so we can investigate and send you a new one 🙂

Meg

The quality definitely doesn’t justify the price. I am a gemologist in the jewelry industry and their jewelry definitely would not sell at that price in most jewelry stores. Also disappointed that they don’t even clarify what semi-precious stones they use in some pieces, making it virtually impossible to have an accurate price.

Yeah, I love love LOVE the look (so minimal and pretty!), but I cancelled soon after subscribing. Of the five pieces I received: three immediately looked terrible because the gold rubs off right away while the fourth piece just straight up had a stone fall out. I take good care of my jewelry, too! Don’t wear in the pool, etc. I have heirloom jewelry that still looks like new. When I told customer service the first time, they assured me it was an anomaly and shipped me a new piece. Was tarnished within a few weeks. When I alerted them again, I was told that I should be careful about how I wear their jewelry. Well, the only way it’s going to stay untarnished is if you NEVER wear them and keep them stored in those pretty bags so what is even the point? I wish it worked because I truly adore the whole vibe of Emma & Chloe. C’est la vie, I guess!

Lisa

I still think it’s a sperm bracelet….I must have a dirty mind or something but that’s all I can think of when I look at it

I love it! I love it! I’m a big fan of Emma&Chloe. They can do no wrong. Liz the bracelet looks beautiful on you. Then again anything looks good on you. Your skin tone works great with gold.

Don’t know what’s happened to this sub. I have gorgeous pieces from past (long past) boxes, but recently – just no.

Elodie

It’s so not me and not in line with anything Emma & Chloe normally does. Mine is up for swap

Diane

I used to love this subscription box but after receiving this bracelet, I cancelled. It was the It is made for very small wrists ans was just plain ugly. So was the necklace last month and the tassel ring the month before that. I will order from their site, but no more subscription. Also, I purchased a bracelt from their store and it too, was tool\ small. I had to give it away.

Jess

Mines up for swap. Its nice but not my style.

It reminds me of a sand worm from Beetlejuice. I actually really like it.
