Facetory is a monthly sheet mask facial subscription. The company aims to provide its members with the latest cult faves from the Korean sheet mask trend. Rather than arriving in a box, like the SEVEN LUX subscription, this smaller FOUR-ever Fresh version comes in a cool pouch that has the same awesome design.

facetory 4 unboxing

This is a review of the FOUR-ever Fresh subscription level ($8.90 per month + free US shipping), which includes 4 curated sheet masks made from traditional fabrics like cotton and cellulose. They also offer a SEVEN LUX subscription level, which includes 7 curated sheet masks with slightly higher-functioning ingredients (think hydrogels and other more sophisticated ingredients).

Facetory also recently launched Your Story Box which is a personalized box offering oily skin, dry skin, and combo skin options. Learn more here!

Facetory sends a little info card along with their masks to explain the significance of each formula. This is particularly helpful with masks that don't have a lot of English on their packaging!

I also got a coupon code to use on the Facetory shop!

facetory 4 sun bae mask

facetory 4 sun mask

Facetory Sun Bae Soothing Mask - Listed Value $3.50

This mask is meant to be used after a day in the sun, but it's honestly just as refreshing after a day running errands or sitting in front of the computer at work! It's got aloe in it, which is always so cooling and calming, especially to the areas of my face that are naturally drier. The shea butter component also left my face feeling soft and nourished. The essence was a little runny, but it had a nice impact on my skin.

facetory 4 mask with green tea

facetory 4 green tea mask

7 Days Mask with Green Tea - Listed Value $3.00

This mask contains green tea extract, which is rich in antioxidants. It's also packed with glycerin to trap and hold moisture on skin. I found this mask particularly moisturizing. The essence is milky and whitish and feels light against my skin. Despite having a thinner consistency, the formula takes its time absorbing in. It left my skin feeling refreshed and dewy!

Look at Me Vitamin Essence Sheet Mask - Listed Value $3.00

I've been hearing a lot about niacinamide lately. I know people use niacinamide serums, but I don't remember if I've seen it in a sheet mask form before. I didn't notice any of the impacts it supposedly has (smaller pores, even skin tone, etc.) with this one use of the mask, but I wonder if it'd improve with repeat use. My skin did feel really refreshed after using this mask, maybe because of the royal jelly in it (an ingredient that's antibacterial as well as anti-aging)? I just felt nourished, but also clean in a way. The light lemon scent was nice, and I liked that the essence in this one was just slightly thicker than the watery consistency of most essences—it felt like it clung to my skin in a nice way.

facetory 4 bamboo black mask

facetory 4 aqua bamboo mask

MJCare Aqua Bamboo Black Mask - Listed Value $3.50

This black sheet mask has charcoal in it, which is supposed to help detoxify the skin while the essences in this mask get to work nourishing it. The formula also has volcanic ash extract in it, which sounds super cool and supposedly helps soothe irritated skin. I didn't have any big blemishes in the area, but the mask did leave my face feeling refreshed. I did notice that my face had a very slight sticky residue feeling after using the mask. It kind of made me want to wash my face, but I was worried about stripping out all of the nourishing goodness too soon.

Verdict: Facetory is a cool way to shop around for different sheet mask brands and formulations that work well for your skin. I like seeing what cool new packaging, special ingredients, and effects each monthly pack of masks has to offer! My one qualm is that I'd prefer to get several of the same mask each month so that I can see what the different formulations do with repeat use. But lucky for me, Facetory recently introduced their Your Story Box which lets you do just that! Getting this subscription is a great excuse to make time to chill out and pamper myself. I've also found that sheet masks as the perfect thing to bring to a night in with friends. You feel like you're doing something fun and luxurious, but you also get the benefit of giggling at how wacky you all look in your masks 🙂

To Wrap Up:

Can I still get this box if I sign up today? As of writing this review, it looks like this assortment is still the active box! Sign up here.

Value Breakdown: The box costs a total of $8.90 including shipping. At the time of writing this review, the masks in the box weren't available on the Facetory site shop. Using the values listed for each mask on the info card, however, I came up with a total value of $13.00. The average price of each mask via the subscription is $2.23.

I recently joined and subbed to BOTH the 7 Lux and the Your Story. Whee! I just love a sheet mask & am so excited to have a variety of these to try out. I will likely cancel one of the boxes, but so far I am so happy I signed up. It really is getting me to pamper myself rather than the standard clean off my makeup routine.

BTW, the only mask you & I both got was the Sun Bae. I’m glad I got to see at least that reviewed!
