September 2018 Harrison Blake Apparel Monthly Club Review

Harrison Blake's subscription is pretty straightforward - you'll always receive a tie plus matching accessories that complete the look. The September items played with more color - pairing a green and blue as we head into Fall.

Each delivery comes with a business card size info car. It lists each item and its value. All items are made by Harrison Blake - so I'll be using the values from this card. This month also includes a 60% off discount code to their store.

Green Moss Stripe Tie - Value $30

This month's tie combines the two main colors of the delivery - green and blue.

This is on the silky end for ties. Construction-wise, the ties are always pretty similar - but the look can change from month to month.

Blue Block Socks - Value $8

This month does include a pair of socks. The Harrison Blake sock is a dressier sock - so you should expect them to be thin and breathable - a good sock for Spring or Fall.

Moss Crest Pocket Square - Value $20

The pocket square is a bit more experimental with shapes and color than most months. It combines the green and blue but also mixes some floral shapes in with geometric shapes.

Golden Leaf Lapel Pin - Value $20

This month features a golden lapel pin that is perfect as Fall rolls in.

What better than a leaf lapel pin for Fall?

Navy Laces - Value $10

The final item in the box was a first for Harrison Blake - a pair of navy shoelaces that you can add to your favorite shoe to pop that blue theme into your footwear.

Verdict: This subscription sends out some basics for people who often wear more formal clothing. If you like the Harrison Blake brand, then this will be a good value for you as you build, or rotate, your wardrobe.

To Wrap Up:

1) genuinely curious on what a lapel pin is?
2) those socks look like they belonged in Blues Clues

Lapel pins are just little pins that are typically worn on the lapel of a suit jacket
